Chapter 2: Night walk

No, it couldn't be so easily surrendered. Amada's mind was constantly struggling to wake her from the panic attack. Amada will not fall, and will not accept her tragic fate. Nathan Lee roams the streets at night, an act he often repeats for a comfortable stay when he sets foot in another country or city. Nathan's nocturnal habit has been around for a long time, mainly because he wants to clear his mind before climbing into bed.

Nathan was walking suddenly stopped, looked up at the sky, and took a deep breath of the night breeze. Suddenly he was distracted when he heard some shouting along the square, next to the museum. Nathan was curious to know what was going on, maybe it was just a fight between drunken Italians, but anyway Nathan decided to go see what it was all about?

"Can someone help me please?" Desperate voices and cries broke the silence of the night, contributing to Nathan's hasty steps.

"Help me!" Amada frantically yelled. In the stillness of the night, her screams sounded dreary.

Nathan heard a cry for help. It was a woman's voice, he ran as fast as he could in the direction of the scream.

When he stopped, Nathan's breath hitched, he ran just to keep up with how things were going. At this moment, his eyes were met with the image of 4 men attacking a girl, cornering her. Meanwhile, the girl protested fiercely by clutching the wooden stick in her hand, ready to strike down anyone who dared to touch her.

However, it was clear that the thugs weren't intimidated by the girl's courage. The evidence is that they openly laughed and joked, then huddled together roughly, trying to force the girl to surrender. Looking closely, Nathan could see that, almost immediately, they took the weapon from the girl's hand. Everything happened in just a moment, the girl alone could not bear it, she did not even realize when she was empty-handed. It was not until her limbs were clamped, her body could not resist, that Amada Nelson knew she had failed.

"Let go of me, you bastards. You'll pay dearly."

Amada struggled, screaming desperately, and one guy covered his mouth with his hand. A cry for help choked Amada's throat, leaving only the helpless gurgling sounds.

They held onto the girl, preparing to do what Nathan knew was brutal, angry. Anger welled up inside Nathan, and before he could control his anger, Nathan lunged forward, dealing fatal blows to all four men.

One by one, they fell to the ground before the power Nathan unleashed. The groans and curses intertwine, creating a noisy atmosphere.

Amada was released, still panicking mixed with fear. Body limp, Amada slid down and sat down on the ground. Seeing the scene of Nathan dealing with those guys, his eyes were blurry.

"Dog, what do you want?" The big man covered his face in pain, and asked Nathan in a half-Italian voice: "This is none of your business, don't interfere. That bitch borrowed money from us, won't pay, what are you relying on to interfere in the matter? people's?"

Nathan raised his eyebrows as he fabricated to justify his illegal actions. He then turned to look at Amada as if to confirm that was true. Amada is useless now, her mind is completely unstable, and she is no longer conscious. She also doesn't care about everything going on around her.

When Nathan let his guard down, the big guy signaled his accomplices to stalk Nathan. Nathan reacts quickly and then quickly unleashes an attack that takes them all down. One of them passed out on the spot, while another crawled on the ground trying to escape.

Ignoring them, Nathan turned his attention to Amada.

"Are you a tourist?" Nathan's English is very clear, easy to listen to, and easy to understand.

"That's right," Amada whispered back.

"Me too." Nathan didn't understand why he smiled at that: "What a coincidence. You came here alone?"

"No, I went to my sister and..." Amada gasped, trying to adjust to her condition.

Now, what to do? Nathan ruffled his hair in frustration. Suddenly he got involved in silly trouble.

It's really stupid. Nathan's mumbling contributed to making the quiet space scary.
