Chapter 30. Prize

"Where… where are you taking me," the Duke didn't even let Emma congratulate him when he had already taken her into his arms, holding her tightly. Then he didn't wait to jump into the sky not letting anyone follow them.

"I want my prize, dear," he said in a soft whisper. However, he was going crazy and desperate. 'Dammit, Elton!'

He led her into a small house on the top of a mountain surrounded by a deep forest. They were still inside the Capital of Avalor, but this mountain was one of his private properties he valued very much as it was surrounded by soft energy from the forest around and a peaceful atmosphere. The small chamber was open with some curtains around but a circle of energy was serving as a barrier and a wall, it was amazing, like a bubble of magic. Only the arrogant dragon would be powerful enough to have such luxury.

Liam used to come there alone from time to time when he finished training or wished for peace after the battle. No one else w
