Leilani visibly relaxed, but then her body began to feel hot. She was breathing hard, so I wondered what else was going on. I hated that I couldn’t see what she was doing, or where she was at.

“Are you sure you want us to send you to her? I must warn you, I cannot guarantee that you will end up in the same place as her. We have never sent another species to that place. We will send you, but it might be for nothing. If we send you to a place we cannot reach you, we may not be able to bring you back.” I heard Cordelia say, but my attention remained on Leilani.

It wasn’t even a question as far as I was concerned. It was a risk I was willing to take. If there was a way for me to help her, I was going to do everything I could.

“How long will it take?” I asked.

I don’t know if I trust Kellan at this point. And what’s up with the Rose Pack full of zombie wolves? Is Leilani keeping them young /alive unbeknown to her? Is being a Zombie Wolf Shifter a thing? So many questions!
