My back and front burned from squeezing through the bars, but I wasn’t about to let Eric know about it. I watched as Eric’s wolf seemed to be dancing around. It wasn’t that I didn’t trust that something was attacking, I just didn’t see anything.

“This was why I didn’t want you here.” My wolf spoke to me, causing me to remember that I was in the cage with her.
