Chapter:17: Drive!:

Maya was still angry when she came out of the office. However, she quickly adjusted her expression and stepped out of the company.

She walked straight to the parking lot and got into her car. As soon as she was seated, she felt a surge of anger in her chest.

She wanted to yell loudly. However, the incoming phone call stopped her just right in time.

“Miss Maya, I have found out all the information about Miranda Quentin that you wanted,” Davis Cooper said from the other side of the line, immediately the call was connected.

Hearing this, Maya's facial expression got better and she urged.

“Go on and tell me what you found out about her,” She said.

Davis Cooper cleared his throat once again, and said, “Miranda Quentin was indeed locked up in the cell for a few months as you ordered. However, she was released after a while since there was no evidence to convict her and you didn't show up at the station to give the orders.” He said with a calm tone.

“What? I can't believe my flaws.
