7- Tensions and secret unveile

Michael’s POV

Few days later

I despise silence, but today marked a different scenario.Anthony

and I

exchanged silent glances, we were both curious

awaiting an answer.

Our

attention

was now

fixed on

Alfred, anticipating his words. Whether he genuinely found us intriguing or was merely jesting, I couldn't discern. This was the second time he had instructed us to wait.

Under usual circumstances, I'd be seething with impatienceand maybe drawn out a few blood from him, but the gravity of the information

Alfred

possessed demanded a measure of restraint

that I was surprised we had. So, begrudgingly, we chose patience over frustration.

"Do you want to die?" Anthony finally broke the silence.

"Seconded," I spoke up. Alfred raised his head, looking at us with a smile. However, he quickly realized the gravity of the situation, and his smile transformed into a serious expression as he spoke.

"Alright, she's a rogue."

"We know that," Anthony's voice dripped with annoyance; he clearly wasn't in the mood.

"She's from the Alpha pack. Apparently, she almost killed the princess."

"Feisty. Now I know what drew me to her," I acknowledged.

"What else?" Anthony pressed for more details.

"Her parents died when she was younger. She's eighteen years old, an outcast, but I couldn't find out exactly why," Alfred stated. "That's all I know for now," he added, noticing our expectant stares.

"She seems quite harmless," Fedora added.

"You haven't had a wooden stake almost in your heart," I mocked Anthony, and Fedora burst into laughter.

Fedora was the prophtess of the park, she comes from a linage of great priestess called fought from the moon Goddess , her hair was white, she was black and her eyes were blue like the sea.

“forgiveness is key”, Fedora add

She knew that we didn’t give second chances and never forgive, it was unrecessary and for the weak. Fedora was almost like our childhood friend, she always went with us to war, she was like family, her father was our fathers bestfriend, his beta, she was the only one who didn’t mind her words when she was speaking to us

"Like we have a choice," Anthony remarked.

He wasn't wrong; there was a reason why we spared her life in the forest. A prophecy from long ago dictated that she was destined for us, well to be our mate.

That's why she had no choice but to accept our offer—it was preordained. Anthony and I were well aware of this truth.

"Finally, the prophecy is here. Does she know about it?" Fedora inquired.

"No, and she wouldn't, at least not now," I added, knowing the weight of the revelation we held.

“ what wouldn’t I know “ it was said in a whisper but loud enough for

everyone in the throne room to look at the entrance and see Elena

elegantly standing and staring at both of us

for answers.

The room fell into an uneasy silence, this is the type of silence I didn’t like.

Elena

walking into the palace and now

stood before us, demanding answers. Her eyes, a mix of determination and fear, darted between me, my twin Anthony, and the enigmatic Fedora and Alfred. It was a precarious moment, a crossroads between revelation and secrecy.

"So, what have you been keeping from me?" Elena's voice was surprisingly

loud and

steady, belying the tension that clung to her every word. From where I stood, I could detect the subtle quiver in her posture, the unspoken vulnerability beneath her brave facade. It amazed me that she could muster the courage to confront us, the Alphas, including the deadliest ones—Anthony and me.

I noticed how neatly her hair was and Instead of saying “Wow” and probably tell her how beautiful she is.

I chuckled, don’t ask me why cause I

don’t know maybe it was just an attempt

to inject a bit of levity into the situation. To my surprise, the humor fell flat; she didn't crack a smile. Anthony, the usually stoic one, stood there staring at her in awe. It was a rare sight—someone standing up to the Alphas, and she was doing it remarkably well

and glowing with beauty at it.

“What can’t you tell me?”, she asked again and her voice wasn’t sounding

patient.

She was really developing

wings this pass few days, impressive.

Elena pressed on, undeterred by my attempts at humor. We just met her few days ago how dear she question is. She doesn’t even know who

exactly we are, we weren’t friends and she never came out of her room in these few days

I noticed

Anthony's eyes bore into hers, curiosity etched on his face. Fedora, always the playful one, couldn't resist chiming in, "Maybe she's here for the thrilling company. Who wouldn't want to spend time with the Alphas?"

Elena eyes switched immediately at

fedora

with an expression

of shut up and she didBut Elena wasn't swayed by our usual banter. Her eyes were fixated on Anthony and me, seeking answers we weren't eager to provide. She demanded the truth about the cryptic prophecy that had been kept from her.

As she asked, my mind raced. She should not find out about the prophecy, and none of us were inclined to reveal it. It was a secret deeply rooted in the intricacies of our kind, a weighty burden we chose to bear silently.

Alfred, sensing the urgency of the situation, decided to share some information. "Elena, you're part of an

prophecy. It foretells the arrival of a rogue

who is destined to

be mated with Anthony and Micheal

and who would change the fate of our park as our Luna,

you

are that rouge."

Her eyes widened, absorbing the revelation, and her voice trembled as she asked, "Why didn't you tell me this before? Why all the secrecy?"

Anthony, usually composed, responded, "It's complicated. We didn't want to burden you with the weight of destiny. But now that you know, understand that you're crucial to our world

and you must be our mate."

Fedora interjected with his characteristic smirk, "Look, Elena, it's not all doom and gloom. There's a reason why the prophecy brought you to us.

Your mates are here

to guide and protect you."

Elena, torn between fear and a newfound sense of purpose, questioned our motives. "Is this why you offered me a place with you, or was it just part of the prophecy?"

I could see the vulnerability in her eyes, and despite my penchant for jokes, I softened. "It's both, Elena. The prophecy led you to us, but our choice to keep you was ours. We believe you can shape a better future for our kind."

As the room held its breath, Elena whispered, "What if I don't want this responsibility? What if I just want to live my life without being tied to some ancient prophecy?"

The weight of her words hung in the air, and the room fell silent again. Alfred stepped forward, his expression sympathetic. "Elena, the choice is yours. Destiny may guide, but you determine your path. We're here to support you, no matter what you decide."

We all stared at her waiting for her decision. A minute felt like an hour

“No”

“No?”, Anthony asked

and for the first time in years I heard

shock in his voice

“Yes!, I will not be subjected again to anyone and would

never be your mate “ she said and went out leaving us all in awe
