"I hate this life!" Isabella screamed, her frustration rising with each second. Finally having had enough with being confined to the castle walls, she decided to take her life into her own hands. But her duties as the only one who needs to marry the Alpha King for the safety of the kingdom loomed over her like a dark cloud that would never go away. Afraid of her parents reaction, she sneakily created a plan that she had hoped would be better for her. But little does she know they made a pact with the Alpha King that would change her life forever. Is she ever going to be able to take destiny into her own hands and forge her own path. Or will she lose her freedom forever?
View MoreCan we do this? Can we leave this place without them seeing us? Isabella questioned her wolf, her mind racing over all the pros and cons of what she's about to do.
"What-if life on the other side of the castle doesn't go as planned? Would I really risk venturing into the unknown for my own benefits?" She muttered, anxiety rooting in her brain. After a while, her mind was made up, and now had decided to take things into her own hands. With careful deliberate steps, she walked toward her bedroom door which was closed. “I can do this. My fate is in my own hands." She whispered, while slowly turning the doorknob to her room. Her heart beat rapidly inside her chest with each movement she made. I need to ensure nobody can see me leaving the pack. Nobody needs to tell me the decision I made is wrong. So, I'll go as quickly and quietly as possible. She thought as The door swiftly opened with a creaking sound, disturbing the silence in the hallway. Creak All that was there was the squeaking floorboards as the wind blew into the dark and desolate castle. Everybody was in a deep slumber, not knowing that she was slowly making her way to the edge of the castle. Once she placed her foot outside her bedroom door, doubt crept into her mind again. On the one hand, she was determined to find her own way in the pack. But on the other hand, fear of her mother and father's reaction caught her off guard. And the uncertainty of it all, filled her heart, causing her to think it over for a couple minutes. I don't know if I should do this. The thought of my mother finding out I had left scares me! Why can't I f*cking remove the worry from my mind? She pondered while turning her head left and right, as fear gripped the very part of her soul that she wanted to keep to herself. But no, that wasn't possible, since everything she had done was for the success of the werewolf kingdom. “Ahem.” Her wolf cleared her throat, interjecting Isabella’s train of thought. Isabella rolled her eyes, then continued venturing further, not caring about the thoughts of her wolf. But before she could continue, Isabella responded, her mind filling with annoyance. “What do you want? Don't you see you're interrupting me?” Then she crossed her arms over her chest, fuming with anger. She didn't need her wolf's input on what she should do, yet the thought of going it alone was a dangerous opposition. “Listen here, Isabella! We can do this. I know you're worried. H*ll I am as well. We’re in this together no matter what comes. I'll make sure we get to the other side safely." Her wolf spoke in a calming and reassuring manner, easing her worries. I’m glad no one's here. Not even my bodyguards. Isabella thought as she walked toward the door to where her freedom was. Then out of nowhere, the last person she would expect stood in front with her arms over her chest. “Isabella! You shouldn’t be outside the castle walls!” Sarah whispered in the air as she followed her toward the castle's front door. With each step she took, her anger and disappointment filled the castle. ‘I need to tell her my true feelings. If she doesn’t agree with me, then I don’t care. I have to know how she will respond. But I don't know if it's what I truly want.’ She thought to herself as she shifted from one foot to the other, and the floorboards made a loud creaking sound. Come on, Isabella. You can do this. Just say the words that are on your mind. Her wolf, said to her, as encouraging as possible. My wolf, you're correct. We can. I don't know why I doubted in the first place. Thanks for the reminder. Isabella She straightened her back and looked deeply into her mother’s eyes. A sense of longing filled her to the brim. “I hate being cooped in my room," Isabella whined, her voice filling with sadness as the words spilled from her mouth, startling people who were standing idly in the living room. “Everybody must leave the room now because I have to talk with my daughter." Her mother spoke with authority, then paused for a brief second. But they didn't stop talking, in fact their voices rang louder than before. "Why must we leave? The way she is acting is a concern for the wellness of the pack." One of them spoke up, their voice tinged with anger. "Enough! I won't have you second guessing what I say! You all will do what I say! If you don't you'll risk being removed from this pack!" Her mother declared loudly, causing the chaos to stop in its track. And then they left one by one, leaving both Isabella and her mother alone in the room. As they peered at each other, the tension inside of the room grew little by little until it burst into flames. I want to leave this god-forsaken place, and never return. She pondered whilst crossing her arms over her chest. Her mother breathed deeply, and placed her left hand underneath Isabella's chin, lifting it just a tad. Disgusted by her mother's affection, she shuddered, trying to remove her hand from her chin. "Mom, remove your hands off my chin, now!" She said through gritted teeth. “I understand you don’t want to, but I need you safe and secure. My dear Issy, this is a dangerous world we live in. That’s why you must obey my every word.” Her mother declared with finality. As the words fell from her mouth, Isabella’s hands started clenching and unclenching. Thinking that her mother would at one point agree to it, and then next take it away. ‘Why can’t she understand that being alone in the castle doesn't bring me happiness?’ Isabella thought to herself, disdain filling her body. “Mother! You don’t get how your overbearing ways have ruined my f*cking life!"Thank you everyone who has ever read this story. Your support is always appreciated. As Ana took the book in her hands they automatically started roaming over it. And her mind was racing fast. 'Why does this feel familiar, but at the same time it is not?' She pondered as her eyes started hazing over, then they closed. Her heart started beating rapidly out of her chest. "What's happening? Why are my eyes closing on their own?" Ana thought to herself while allowing sleep to take over her. When suddenly, a memory flashed in her mind. Something which was a distant memory. Once it took over her senses, she found herself standing in the dimly lit halls of a grand castle. Being a werewolf, her senses heightened more. The scent of old worn books filled her nostrils. 'Where am I?' She pondered while trying to understand where she ended up. Ana started looking around the place when whispers filled her ears. "Alexander, are you seeing this?" She asked, but when she looked to her side, her heart sank. He was not there with her. The longer she was away from h
As they stood outside Ana's father's office, the air around them began to thicken with tension. It was a sense that something was brewing behind the walls. Something was going to happen, yet they didn't know what.Ana's mind raced many miles a minute, trying to understand it all. A mix of emotions swirled in her hurt, something that she had never known. Yet finding out about her birth family stirred it up.'I don't know if I should do this. For some reason, my heart feels heavy, and I don't know why,' Ana wondered as she shifted from one foot to the other. Her nerves were running rampant in her body, but she couldn't calm herself down.It took everything in her to slowly come back to the present and hear what Alexander said.'I hate seeing her like this. Why can't I figure out how to help her get through her rampant emotions?' Alexander pondered as he searched her eyes for any sign of regret. Before she could think about it anymore, Alexander interrupted her thoughts. His voice was bo
As night turned into day, birds started chirping, a sign that a new day had come. The sun began shining through the closed window blinds. The light danced around the room, enhancing each detail of Alexander's body.Every time he stretched, his abs protruded from underneath his pajama shirt. While this was happening, Ana was having a tense conversation with her father's assistant. As Alexander stood off the bed, the covers pooled around his feet, making a nice circle around them. Then he stretched once again and blinked a couple of times. As Alexander tried to remove any remnants of sleep that he had left, his mind started racing. Who is that talking with Ana? He wondered while just waking up.He squinted his eyes trying to see who was standing by the door. But he couldn't figure it out. After a few minutes, his eyes fully adjusted, and his anger became palpable. Alexander started balling his hands into fists.Whoever is talking with her makes my hair stand on the back of my neck, Alex
After her mother opened the bedroom door, Ana's eyes widened at the incredible sight that was laid out before them.It was large with an open bay window, and a blush pink bed was to her right. Everything was perfectly beautiful. And that was something she desperately needed to have. The bedroom was laden with so many trinkets, and her eyes scanned every single one. "Wow! Look at this place! Everything here is exquisite," she declared as her eyes bore into something in the room. Ana started inching closer wanting to find out what it was that she was observing. Her hands were shaking uncontrollably, but with determination, she would not allow it to get in the way. While Ana was enjoying the view, her mind began running a thousand miles a minute. This life was new for her, especially with everything that she had gone through. Yet, finally, she could have the life that she dreamed of. But is this just a dream, or will she wake up to find that this is real?'This place is beautiful. I n
Ana leaned closer as the last words left her mother's mouth. Her hands found the edge of the leather couch, and she grabbed onto it. She desperately tried to keep herself grounded, while listening to what her mother was saying. Ana began to pensively think about how and why now her mother was trying to be a part of her life. 'Why did my biological mother have to appear after so many years? Was it pre-ordained by the moon goddess? Or was there something else at play?' Ana wondered as she tried to understand what the meaning of her new life meant for her. "Ana, are you listening to me?" Her mother questioned before she continued with the story. Absentmindedly, Ana nodded, "Yeah, I am." She replied with a smile on her face. Right before her mother started talking again, Ana began thinking about her life, and how it would change. 'Will my mother's revelation guide me in how I view myself? And is it going to fill the void in my heart?' She wondered as her mother continued. "
