"What took you so long?" Jake asked Alex as he entered, swiftly picking up the pack that was with him.

He eagerly opened the package of food and began chewing as much as he could, he only stopped and looked up when Alex said something.

"Jake, I wouldn't be returning here after tonight; my life and the lives of my family are in grave danger, the police are looking for you everywhere, and they're in my house right now. I can't give up my liberty for you. I can’t put my life at risk for you," he remarked in fear.

"I know you have been a good friend to me, you have stood by me in my difficult times, and this is one of the challenges one faces in life, but please do that to the end," he said.

"What should I do to the end?” Alex asked with a strong face, “We both understand that there is no point hiding because sooner or later you will be caught and if I am caught with you, I will be arrested along with you. This isn’t one of the challenges you face in life, you brought this on
