The two brothers carried identical grins as they watched Layla's face turn pale.
"I am Darius," the one with stormy grey eyes said as he approached her. He gave her a warm hug and took her bag from her.
"And, I am Lucius," the second said. He also came forward and hugged her. He didn't stop there he placed a peck on her forehead and took her hand.
Layla's heart was frozen. Her head was working at a thousand thoughts per second.
Her fears started rising and threatening to swallow her up.
Her mind tried to bring up the contract. She wanted badly to read the content. But she had foolishly signed without reading, thinking that everything was just as they discussed in the office.
The house was relatively empty. And not the image she was thinking of in her head.
She expected to find a ton of servants and cameras mounted all around but it was not the case at all.
The large living area was free from any humans. The large sofas filled the room with decorative flowers positioned at strategic places.
Lucius led her to the stairs, where Darius was already at.
She realized they were taking her to the room. Her heart resumed racing as the steps to the higher floor became shorter and shorter.
Finally, they got to the room. It was a large room. She couldn't even describe it as a presidential suite. This was more than presidential.
The bed could fit twenty people comfortably with more than enough space to play around with.
The wardrobe was so large, she thought there was a hall behind the doors until Darius pulled it open and placed her bag in it.
Lucius left her side and moved to the bed.
"May I ask a question?" She whispered from where she stood.
Darius —the one she spoke with, turned to look at her.
"Sure, what's up?" He demanded casually.
"The contract is for you... Just you, right?" Her heart stopped again as she waited for him to give her an answer.
"You didn't read it?" He asked with a smirk.
Blood drained from Layla's face.
"You are our fianceé and we will be spending time together. Oh, and he is my twin brother. Lucius and Darius Winston, welcome to the family," he said as he moved away from the wardrobe and moved to the door.
"Next time you are signing something, make sure you read it," He hissed before disappearing.
He left her alone in the room with his brother. The one she had never met.
"Why don't you come to the bed and relax, I am sure the ride was a long one," he said.
She blinked at him and moved her eyes to the lounge chairs in a corner of the room.
"No, thank you. I am fine." Layla moved quickly to the lounge chairs and sat down.
Her hands were shaking as she realized the mess she had put herself into.
She was still lost in thoughts when the wind shifted and Lucius was standing in front of her.
How did he move so fast?
He sat on the chair, impossibly close to her. His long fingers stretched and rested on her cheek.
"I am not as patient as my brother... If you read that contract you would have seen mine conditions as well... I am a very touchy partner..." He snickered as his hands moved to her neckline.
Layla found herself unable to move. It was like she was in a trance.
A strong magical hold that prevented her from reacting.
Half of her mind told her to scream and run, but the other half wanted this strangely handsome man to continue whatever he was doing to her.
"Damn, you are so beautiful..." He whispered as his eyes moved lower to her chest.
His fingers were trailing dangerously above her chest, a thin line to her cleavage.
Layla's mind was having an internal battle. Goosebumps appeared on her skin and her breath became harsher as her body reacted to this strange man's touches.
This was just day one and she couldn't resist him. What would happen in two months?
"I made a very good choice..." He mumbled shifting his nose closer to her. He inhaled her scent, smiling as her jasmine-scented perfume clouded his mind.
"You are just seeing me now. Your brother made the choice," Layla pointed out.
He stopped caressing her skin and pulled her slightly away so that his eyes could focus on her face.
"In that canteen, it was me you barged into... Not my brother," Lucius corrected.
Layla blinked as she tried to remember, she must have been so shocked that she didn't notice the slight change in their eyes color.
His eyes moved to her lips and all he wanted was to kiss her. The urge was so strong that he had to fight the turmoil within him or he would explode.
"Why me... why didn't you pick someone else?" She whispered, breathlessly.
"Strip!" He said instead.
Like a hard option hit through her head, Layla snapped her eyes widely open and glared at him.
"What?"
But he only smirked and relaxed into the chair.
"You said you didn't want my brother to touch you and he won't. But you and I didn't hold such a conversation."
She jumped to her feet as the enchantment she was in earlier broke off and she became overwhelmed with fear.
"What? You can't do that!" She yelled already backing away.
"I am not going to rape you. I can't do that even if I wanted to..."
Her mind relaxed a bit but she could tell there was more from the way his evil grin returned.
"But, my side of the contract says that you have to be naked at all times when we are alone in the room," he said.
He pulled out a file, Layla had not noticed beneath the table and flashed it to her.
"Section five. You signed it. So now we execute it, strip."

Chapter 251:The moon cast an eerie glow over the ancient clearing where the Council of Wolves convened. Tall trees surrounded the clearing, their branches intertwining to create a natural canopy that shielded the area from prying eyes. It was where the Council held their meetings any time a member committed an offense.A hushed silence settled over the assembly as Rosa and Vanessa were escorted to the center, where a circle of powerful wolves awaited them.Magnus, from his seated position, fixed his penetrating gaze on the two culprits. "Rosa and Vanessa," he growled, his voice echoing through the clearing. "You stand accused of heinous crimes against the pack. Your actions have sown discord, mistrust, and fear among us. Explain yourselves."Rosa stepped forward with defiance in her eyes. "It was never my intention to cause any disharmony in the pack. All I have ever wanted was the unity of this pack. I never knew it would end up this way. It was all for the greater cause," she

Sincerely I am sorry for everything I did, I should have done better."Dane scoffed, a defensive wall evident in her posture. "Apologize? Is that supposed to make everything okay? So you expect me to receive you with an open arm."Leo sat down across from her,
Chapter 249:The minutes stretched into an eternity as Lucius and Darius waited in the hushed anticipation of the hospital reception. Chapter 248:The hospital reception was a canvas of subdued hues, the gentle hum of conversation and the distant shuffle of footsteps creating an ambience of anticipation. Lucius, perched on the edge of an uncomfortable chair, checked his watch for what felt like the hundredth time. The sterile white walls seemed to close in as minutes stretched into an agonizing eternity.Lucius was oblivious to his environment, not minding the activity going on in the hospital. The goal was Layla, nothing must happen to her. Chapter 247:Lucius felt a cold shiver run down his spine as he burst through the door, closely followed by Darius and Leo. Layla lay unconscious on the floor, her usually vibrant eyes now closed. Panic gripped Lucius's chest."Darius, something's not right. We need to get help," Lucius urged, rushing to Layla's side.Darius swiftly pulled out his phone and dialed the emergency number, his voice urgent as he described Layla's condition to the operator. Meanwhile, Leo crouched down next to Layla, gently trying to rouse her."Layla, come on. Wake up," Leo muttered, his voice filled with concern.“I should have known from the start,” Darius spat angrily.“What happened?” Lucius asked turning to Mary while attending to Layla at the same time.“I don’t know I just saw her lying there, I swear I don’t know,” Mary stated in fear.“Why the hell are they taking so much time?” Lucius yelled at Darius, ignoring Mary, “Can you call them again?” he urged.“I am trying to..." Darius replied but h
