Olivia

After I enjoyed coffee with Rosa, I took the stairs to my room feeling less vindictive than I did when I had walked in through the front door earlier.

Rosa had shared a lot with me, and I didn't know why. The only reason I could think of was that she was fond of Leonardo and she wanted me to understand why he was the way he was.

From one human to human, I understood that the kind of pain he went through of finding his brother and girlfriend shot dead in a very compromising manner could harden and change any man, but still..

No amount of understanding was going to change my situation, I had not seen the other side of him that everyone talked about. To me he had been nothing but an ass and nothing would excuse Leonardo for being the biggest ass in the entire country.

I walked into my old bedroom, and it was as immaculate as always. The covers and curtains had been changed. The light that came through the silky white curtains casted a glow that appeared angelic and yet I was

Olivia Cici got up from the chair he had been occupying and stood next to me. He took my hands in his and I thought I would pass out from my happiness. At this point I could have been happy even if it had been Stanley standing in front of me. a familiar face was all I needed. “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to come sooner,” I nodded at his words, choked up by emotions, he was the first friendly face I had seen in eight months of the living hell I was in. “How’s Cassie?” I asked. His eyes dropped to the floor but he managed a weak smile, “she’s growing, you don’t have to worry about her, I’ll get you out of here.” A faint knock came from the door and Cici let go of my hands and cleared his throat, ready to leave. “Wait...” I said taking hold of his arm before he turned to the door. “How’s Leonardo?” I asked, searching his eyes for any emotional turmoil there but there was none, only defeat. He raked his hair with his fingers, “Leo is fine as well. You don’t have worry

  • Contracted to the Mafia Boss Leonardo De Luca   Chapter 59 The campsite

Olivia The room where I stayed was cold, I was cold from lack of warm food and warm clothes. We were in the dead of winter and only had rags to wear. The day I left the mansion, Stanley didn’t take me anywhere I wanted, as I thought he would but he had brought me to this place in the middle of nowhere where I worked like a slave from sunrise to sunset. I couldn’t blame Stanley because I knew he took his instructions from his boss, and Leonardo must have told him to bring me to this place as punishment. With the sins that I had committed against Leo, I would take the punishment anytime but only if he would let me bring my child with me, I knew I sounded selfish for wanting to bring up Cassie in a place like this when she was cared for and had nannies at her back and call. The siren sounded from outside, and I knew it was only a matter of time before the guards came marching into the room and dragged me out. I climbed down from my bunk bed, walked to the corner of the room, f

  • Contracted to the Mafia Boss Leonardo De Luca   Chapter 58 O in Bed

Olivia I woke up startled, something was moving on top of the bed covers. Leonardo hadn't been sleeping in our bed for sometime, I knew it wasn't him, and whatever it was, it was too light to be a person. I counted to five before I threw the covers and sat up. O was on the bed, struggling to find a good spot to lie down in. I got out of bed and looked around the room, there was not a sign that anyone had come inside. It was just me and Leonardo's dirty dog. 'How did he even get in?' It was pointless to even think that he had gotten here by himself. What sort of sick game was Leonardo playing now? I found my morning shoes and walked to Cassandras room, she was still sleeping, at least O hadn't payed her a visit, not that he could reach her cot but I had come to learn that nothing was impossible for him. Satisfied that Cassandra was okay, I took the elevator down and went in search of Leonardo. He had taken this game a bit too far. The maids nodded in greeting

Leonardo Cici led us to the throne room, but I stopped him by the door, “What is Olivia doing here?” I asked. He had taken me by surprise with Nikolai and after that everything had moved too fast for my liking. “She's not supposed to be in there.” I said, one hand on my waist and another brushing my hair back. “She is part of this.” He said, he stood against a wall. “Yes. But for now, I just want the results and not to involve her.” She didn't know I knew and I wanted to keep it that way for as long as possible. “Okay then, I'll tell her to leave.” He went inside and spoke to Olivia, who immediately looked at me for confirmation. I nodded my head for her to leave. She looked at the room in detail, before she walked out. Once she had left, Cici closed the door and came to sit down. Now it was the three of us on the round table. Cici turned to Nikolai to bring him up to speed on what the meeting was about. Nikolai nodded in response but didn't seem surprised.

Cici The minute Stanley walked in with Nikolai, I knew that there was no time to waste, and as for waiting that too was gone, the time had finally come to face the music. Leonardo looked at me and then at Nikolai. To be fair Nikolai didn't have the answers either, I had invited him to come because he was the families advisor and if there was going to be a decision between life and death, he needed to be around, even of it involved me. The procedure needed to be fair. I wiped my lips with the napkin and pushed my chair back. It this was my last meal, I had enjoyed it very much. Thank you. Olivia looked horrified and confused, she raised an eyebrow at me when I mentioned her being in the meeting. Although she didn't say as much but I could only guess what her mind was telling her, that her worst nightmare had finally come true. Once everyone was on their feet, Leonardo started walking in front of us and we followed behind him. When he took a turn to go to his office, I

  • Contracted to the Mafia Boss Leonardo De Luca   Chapter 55 The Air Thickened

Olivia I lay awake next to Leonardo and counted each breath he took as he slept peacefully beside me. Cassandra was tugged away snug in her new nursery only a few feet away from us, and I was back in Leonardo's bed. What more could a girl ask for? Not only did it feel like the knot I'd been carrying for the past year had dissolved but I knew that I could now breathe again. I put my hand on his bae chest and traced a lazy finger on top of the artwork that adorned his chest and arms. Most of the tattoos were written in a foreign language and I couldn't make out what was written, but for him to have put them on his body, whatever it was, it must have meant something. Leonardo stirred and I froze mid stroke, but he only tightened his arm around me and his breath evened out. Sometime during my exploration I had fallen asleep and I was awoken by a voice In the room. I turned on my side to find the bed cold. With a yawn and my toes stretched, I picked up my head and saw
