Olivia Later that evening when the chef put food on the table. I went over Cici's plan, hating myself that I was even considering it. It was flawed and dangerous at best but it was the only one on the table. Leonardo walked in, brow furrowed and jaw tight. It was as though a switch had been flipped. He was a totally different man from the one I saw in the morning. “Rosa still hasn't shown up.” He said when he saw the chef walking back towards the kitchen. “I'm sure she will call.” He nodded, taking his seat at the head of the table. “I'll send someone to go check on her.” That was thoughtful of him. Cici waltzed in, he gave Leonardo a tight nod which he acknowledged before he dug into the food. The meal was tense until Cici broke the silence. “Did Christopher find anything?” He asked, his gaze locking with mine. I noticed Leonardo's grip on his fork tighten at the mention of Christopher. “Business later.” He said, the anger no longer simmering beneath the surface.
