Talking secretly

From a distance, someone was peeping at Kevin. Their gaze was flat, and the figure silently looked at Kevin, who was still busy making a phone call.

Kevin, who had just ended his phone call, turned around and almost fell down in surprise at the figure looking at him.

"How long have you been there?" he asked.

"Sorry, sir. I've been here since earlier. I didn't mean to interfere with or disturb you. I wanted to leave this to you, but I didn't dare interrupt your conversation with your companion," the man with tattoos on his fingers replied, handing over a fairly thick file. There must be something important in there.

"What's this?" Kevin frowned, narrowing his eyes.

"It's a document sent from the company we'll be targeting as partners. But I haven't opened it yet; I don't feel I have the right to go ahead of you," the man explained.

"I see. Thank you, Yoel. I thought you were someone else, hence my surprise when I saw you. You can go now," Kevin told his assistant, signaling him to leave.

Before Yoel turned around, Kevin held him back for a moment.

"Wait," Kevin said.

"What's wrong, sir?" Yoel replied obediently.

"If those two ask about me, just tell them I'm getting ready. And tell them not to look for me until I meet them first. Tell them I'm tired. Keep them busy enjoying their vacation," Kevin instructed Yoel.

Once again, Yoel nodded obediently and left without further ado.

"I have to wait a little longer. I can't be rash. If this plan fails, Mommy's trust in me will drop dramatically. Not only that, everything will definitely fall apart."

Kevin sat back on his couch, confident that Angelina and Rasha were out there enjoying the view. It was good for Kevin to relax and enjoy his time before he went into action. He had prepared a lot of things, and his plan had to be executed neatly.

Before Kevin could fall asleep, the phone rang again, disturbing his peace. Kevin had instructed his assistant that, for the time being, matters with clients or company partners should be transferred to his assistant or the manager of his company.

"If anyone disturbs me, I will punch them in the face," Kevin grumbled irritably.

Kevin picked up his cell phone and instantly changed his lazy expression when he saw the name displayed on the screen. He hurriedly answered the call, indicating that the person calling was quite important.

"What's up, Lucia? I'm sorry I kept you waiting," Kevin said.

It shouldn't be hard to guess who was calling. Kevin's gestures and responses made it clear that he was referring to the beautiful woman.

"Are you with Rasha? I didn't want to disturb you at a bad time," Lucia said in a low voice.

Kevin chuckled, finding Lucia's attitude amusing.

"Of course not. I don't want to take any calls in this situation when it comes to our plans," Kevin replied.

"That's good then," Lucia said. "I just wanted to let you know that my shipment will arrive around 9 o'clock."

"Oh, I see. But I can't start until my people have finished everything. Take it easy, don't rush. I don't want our plan to fail because we were hasty," Kevin advised.

"Yeah, but don't drag it out too much. It's good that you didn't forget. Alright, signal me when I need to start my part. Oh, and one more thing, have you planned so that Aunt Angelina doesn't find out about this? She's a very sensitive person," Lucia inquired.

"You don't have to worry about that. It

's the first thing I'm most concerned about. She's going to be a big obstacle in our plan, even though she's also the reason we're doing this," Kevin assured Lucia.

"Yeah, it's really hard to convince her that the baby isn't yours. If she wasn't so stubborn, we wouldn't have to do this," Lucia lamented.

"There's no need to feel guilty. That baby wasn't expected either. If we succeed with our plan, we're not only fulfilling our wish, but also helping Rasha get rid of her burden."

Where she was now, Lucia could only gape. She may not be a kind-hearted person, but that doesn't mean she's heartless enough to have such thoughts. Nobody knows, Lucia didn't want to empathize too much either. In fact, she was happy that Kevin was easily manipulated to achieve his goals. Lucia didn't have to use her brain much for further plans.

"Yeah, maybe you're right. Let's continue our conversation later. I have to finish my work. See you soon, honey."

Lucia unilaterally ended the phone call. Kevin wrinkled his brow in surprise but didn't want to dwell on it. He was now focused on devising a mature strategy to terminate Rasha's pregnancy.

Yes, this vacation was Kevin's way of trapping Rasha.

So why didn't Kevin abort Rasha's pregnancy before? Why now?

Actually, Kevin had wanted to do that, but he often didn't consider it because the situation didn't allow it. Rasha was guarded by Angelina like a precious piece of jewelry. She was too difficult to harm.

All this time, Kevin also didn't think about being more lenient with Rasha in front of Angelina. If Kevin had been acting for a long time, he might have executed this plan much earlier.

"Sorry, sir."

Just as Kevin was daydreaming, an aide came to disturb his peace. Kevin turned his head and found a tall, well-built man standing politely.

"What is it?" Kevin asked.

"Mrs. Angelina is looking for you," the man said.

Kevin gave his aide a displeased look. "So, didn't I tell you to tell them that I wanted to be alone for a while?"

"I'm sorry, sir, but Mrs. Angelina insisted, and I couldn't refuse. I didn't want to anger her," the man explained.

"Jeez, is it really me or the old lady that's your boss?! To hell with it, I'll go to her. What does that woman really want?"
