POV Ayesha
“I thought he was going to say no.” Dad wipes the sweat off his head, then drives me to the hotel. We arrived at the Hotel Blue just before 4pm. My dad looks over likes he is about to give me the first speech of his life. He opens his mouth, and nothing comes out. I grab my suitcase and get out of the car and walk into Hotel Blue. When I walk in, Thanatos has a staff member by the neck. “I said I want an extra room for my guest that is attached to my room. What part of that don’t you fucking get? Do I have to squeeze it out of you? I noticed a door attached to my room. Give me that room.” “There is a VIP guest in that room, sir,” the staff member squeaks out. Thanatos sees me and points at me. My heart flutters, and I feel butterflies in my stomach. The familiar smell of wood fire hits my nostrils, and I feel dizzy. “You girl, come with me!” Well, at least he remembers what I look like. I follow him into the elevator to the 33 floor. Then to room 303. Thanatos kicks open the door. Then yells, “Get the fuck out of my room.” A young couple, half-naked, grab their things and run out. The staff member yells, “I will give you another complimentary room. I apologize for the inconvenience.” “You? What is your name?” “Jake.” “What a good name for such a pathetic man. Get this door fixed in 20 minutes or I’ll fix you.” “Yes, sir, he runs off.” It’s just me and the hunk of a lycan in front of me. I have a big ass grin on my face, and I feel like I’m just going to melt into a puddle of ooze. My heart keeps fluttering, and I stare at him like a piece of steak. “What’s wrong with your face?” He takes the suitcase and points to the room. “Girl, you stay here.” “Ayesha.” “I don’t care. Stay here. We leave in the morning. Order whatever you want from room service.” He places the suitcase in my room. I catch another whiff of his scent. Then he walks away and goes into room 301 next to me. I stand there for a few seconds admiring his incredibly sexy ass walking away. I realize I’m drooling again. I walk into my room. There are free complementary chocolates and red liquorice. I stuff them in my suitcase for later. I order pizza from room service. The staff fixes the door and gives me a key. I go to use the bathroom and wash my hands. When I look at my reflection. Instead of deep green eyes, I see dark red, almost black eyes of my demon wolf Stella. She is not happy with the arrangement. I think the only thing keeping her in check is Thanatos in the next room. I’m 5.7 and I’m strong for someone my age. My father has had me go to combat training every day since I was little to learn discipline and be strong enough to control my wolf. In every second generation, the firstborn daughter in our family has a demon wolf. They never live past 25. Maybe that’s why my father let me go. Demon wolves don’t go out peacefully. They take everyone with them. Even the ones they love. I grab my huge brush and brush my long white hair until I know Stella is more relaxed. She loves head rubs. She purrs like a kitten. I hear a knock at the door, and when I look out, no one is there. I get a whiff of pepperoni pizza and noticed it sitting on the floor in front of my door. I bring it in. Thanatos opens the door between our rooms. He smells the pizza.“ poison.” He yells and throws it against the wall and stomps out. 30 minutes later, he opens his door again and puts half a pizza on my dresser. “Safe to eat.” I stuff my face and pass out. I wake up to thumping and banging in the room next to me. It sounds like a girl is getting hurt; she’s screaming at the top of her lungs. Stella is fighting me to take over. I lock myself in the bathroom, and the moment she sees the mirror, she smashes it with my hand. Shards from the mirror fly everywhere. Blood is oozing out of my hand. I wrap my hand in a towel and force myself to sit in the tub. I hear banging on my bathroom door. “What is going on in there?” “Nothing! I’m fine.” “Open this door now!” “I can’t; she hates mirrors when she’s angry.” Thanatos kicks the door open and finds me hiding in the bathtub. He lifts me out and takes me into his room. I smell his scent, and it drives Stella wild. She’s purring again in my head. I notice a girl hiding under the covers of his bed, and Stella growls. “Take your money off the dresser and get out!” Thanatos yells at the girl. The girl grabs her clothes, money and runs naked out the door. Well, at least she’s okay. By her screaming, I thought she was getting killed and would end up down the Peace River. Thanatos grabs a medical kit and takes the towel off my hand and cleans the wounds on my hand gently. Then he wraps it up again with gauze and tape.“Once we get home, you can let your wolf run to heal.” “You sleep on the bed beside me.” He crawls into bed, and I lie on the other side of the bed above the covers. Stella says the sheets smell like the girl. I try to sleep, but Stella is determined to crawl over to his side of the bed. I know the minute I pass out, she will win. I’m worried about the consequences of her waking him. What if he hurts me like the girl that was in his bed?POV Ayesha He clears off a chair and puts it in front of his desk and gestures for me to sit. I sat down and stared at him wide eyed excited to hear what this is about. “I have a proposal for you, Ayesha. I need an heir. It’s been over 200 years with no luck. The closest was a girl who had a demon wolf. My father killed her when she was halfway through the pregnancy. Father is dead now, so he can’t hurt you.” “I’m willing to pay off your father's debts and give you and your sisters a comfortable life in return. The moment your pregnancy is confirmed. I will give you the option of being my wife. I’m sure your father would prefer you to be married if we have a child together. After the birth, you can stay and raise the child or leave." “Can I have time to think about it?” Stella is yelling yes in my head and dancing around. “Yes, I will allow you to go home for up to three weeks to think about it. The car will pick you up in two days’ time. In the mea
POV Ayesha Stella is running through the woods. She runs for hours until she finds a lake to cool off in. Stella walks out of the lake and rolls in the dirt with her feet in the air. She is the happiness she has ever been. We hear unfamiliar voices yelling. A silver arrow whizzes by narrowly missing us. Stella is back on her feet and running towards the voices. Arrows continue to fly around us, narrowly missing us. Stella is in stealth mode. The voices are unaware that now they are the prey and she is the hunter. She lunges at the first rogue and rips him apart. She continues with the rest of the men until she is stuck with a silver arrow. I feel the intense pain of the arrow ripping into our flesh close to our heart. Silver arrows have no effect on demon wolves. Stella tears through the rest of them, her anger intensified at the rogue that shot us with the arrow. She leaves him for last. When she is done ripping apart the rest of the rogues, she sets her sigh
POV Ayesha When I open my eyes, I’m snuggled into Thanatos with his arm on my chest on the opposite side of the bed. Apparently, Stella was determined not to let me just crawl back to my side of the bed when I woke up. I smell his intoxicating scent, and I don’t want to move. Stella is purring in my head. I feel small tingles all over my body anywhere his skin touches me. I don’t want him to find me here when he wakes up. I slowly move his massive arm off me and slide off the bed. I end up sliding too fast and thump on the floor, hitting my head on the nightstand. I see Thanatos peering over the bed, shaking his head. He picks me up and sits me on the bed like I’m a naughty child. He looks me over from head to toe for any marks. “Go get dressed and grab your stuff. I’ll see you downstairs for breakfast.” I grab my things and use his bathroom to change and then head downstairs. I find the hotel restaurant. Thanatos sticks out like a sore thumb with hi

POV AyeshaThanatos walks into the room, and my world stands still. He looks like a Greek god. I can’t catch my breath. He’s almost 7 feet tall. I need to run my fingers through his golden locks that touch his beautiful face. His dark gold eyes burn into my soul. His face is full of scars and draws me in. He is the most devilishly handsome man I have ever laid eyes on. His muscles are bulging out of his tux. He smells like a wood fire. Like he’s going to burn my entire world down. My jaw is on the floor. My wolf is howling in my head, begging me to reach out and touch him.He pulls out a chair and sits beside my father. My sisters and I sigh in unison. What I wouldn’t give to be his seat cushion.“I’ve come to collect what is owed, Marcus. There will be no more extensions!” Thanatos slams his fist on the table. ”If you weren’t such good friends with my brother, it would be my guards showing up for my pound of flesh!”My father flinches; his face goes pale. “Thanatos, I need more time.
