~Author’s POV~

“Wha–” she started, but was cut off by the hand that came to cover her mouth in the next second. With one hard jab of her elbow, she struck the person, hearing a groan erupt from his lips, but still, he didn't let her go.

It wasn't until that familiar Sandalwood smell hit her nostrils that she mellowed.

“Let's go,” came his voice, and she nodded, following the man out of the woods. It turned out that the warehouse was located in an uncommon neighborhood in the city. She couldn't help but shiver. She couldn't tell if they wanted her dead or something else.
