Author's POV
"What... what do you think of my girlfriend? Do you think she’s beautiful enough to be part of our family?" Sebastian asked, a proud look on his face, the corners of his lips lifting slightly. There was no doubt, he was showing off. He clearly enjoyed the idea that others admired the woman by his side.
"She is very beautiful," Kenneth replied with a small smile, though the memory of how Becky had almost crushed him in her embrace the night before flashed through his mind.
"I knew you would say that. Everyone says she is graceful. But there’s something I have not told anyone yet, you will be the first. I am planning to propose to her. Very soon. And after that, we will start preparing for our wedding. Hopefully, the next time you come here will be for our big day."
"Congratulations in advance. I mean that. I am really happy for you," Kenneth said as he reached out and gave Sebastian’s right hand a brief squeeze.
"Oh, before I forget," Sebastian added, "I want you to be my best man."
Kenneth hesitated. "That is a kind gesture, but do you not think one of your close friends would be more fitting?"
Sebastian’s smile faded. "Do not tell me you are still holding on to what happened all those years ago. If you have truly forgiven me, then please agree to be my best man."
"Sebastian, I promise, I am not angry with you anymore..." Kenneth began.
"Then why say no?" Sebastian cut in, sounding more frustrated than before.
There was a pause. Neither of them said a word for a few seconds as their eyes met. Kenneth pressed his lips together, blinked slowly, then spoke again.
"If saying yes proves to you that I am not holding any bitterness, then fine. I will be your best man."
Sebastian’s face lit up. "Thank you, really. That means a lot." The two men shook hands firmly.
"I should be on my way now," Kenneth said, picking up his bag. He gave Sebastian a quick hug before walking out.
Sebastian sat on the edge of his bed, picked up his phone, and dialled his mother’s number. No answer. Twenty minutes later, he tried again.
"Hi, Mum. Did Kenneth say anything to you?" he asked quickly.
"No," she replied, confused by the urgency in his voice.
"He’s already heading back to London," Sebastian told her.
"So soon? Did something happen between the two of you?" she asked, concerned.
"No, Mum. He just walked into my room and said he got an urgent call. He mentioned he would video call you once he arrives."
"Sebastian, please be honest with me. Did the two of you have an argument?"
"No, nothing like that. When he said earlier that he would leave shortly after the anniversary, I thought he was just joking. I assumed he would stay longer."
"Do you think he still has not forgiven you?"
"I honestly don’t know. He did not bring up the past at all. Everything seemed okay. That is why I called you. Maybe you should try calling him."
Without another word, his mother ended the call and sat on the bed, troubled. Her husband, who had been resting nearby, stirred at the sound of her phone.
A few seconds later, she lowered the phone. Kenneth was not answering.
"Darling, what is it?" her husband asked, now sitting up and placing his feet on the floor.
"Guess what? Kenneth has already left. He is on his way back to London," she said.
“So soon?” Charles asked, worried showing in his voice.
“I was just as surprised. Sebastian called me a few minutes ago to say Kenneth had already left.”
“I overheard something on the phone earlier, but I assumed it was nothing serious,” Charles said.
“Sebastian swears nothing went wrong between them,” Monica added.
“Are you certain? You know how Sebastian can be. He does not always say everything.”
“That was my thought too. I asked him straight, and he said nothing happened.”
While they were still talking, Monica’s phone rang. She looked at the screen and quickly said, “It is Kenneth.”
She answered without delay.
“Hello, Mum. How was your night?” Kenneth asked with a soft tone.
“My night was fine, but why did you leave so early without even saying goodbye? You could not even give me a hug? What happened this time? Did your brother do something again?”
“No, Mum. Nothing happened, I promise. I am really sorry, but I got an urgent call late last night. I did not want to wake you and Dad, so I left quietly.”
As Kenneth continued, Charles gently took the phone from Monica’s ear.
“Kenneth,” he said, his voice slightly raised. “You could have waited until morning at least. We would have gotten up earlier if we knew. Even if it was just to sit together for coffee. It has been years since you last visited, and you still did not spend a full day with us. We missed you.”
“I am so sorry, Dad. I really am,” Kenneth replied, his voice full of guilt.
“Your mother and I were wondering, and I said I would ask you directly. Did you and Sebastian argue about something?”
“No... Why would you think that?” Kenneth asked, now sounding a bit confused. “Did he say we argued?”
“No, he was surprised too when you left. That is why we are both confused.”
“Please, Dad, I will make it up to you. I promise. If everything goes well, I will come back before the end of the year. I miss you both too. I will call again later.”
“Alright,” Charles said quietly, then ended the call.
He looked at Monica and sighed. “I still feel like something is going on. They are not telling us everything.”
“I know what you mean,” Monica replied. “But if one of them is telling the truth, it will be Kenneth. I believe him.”
Charles sat down slowly on the edge of the bed, deep in thought. “Let us hope so.”

Becky’s Pov
The morning sun poured into my hotel room and woke me up. Just like I expected, Kenneth was not lying on my bed; he must have gone back to his own room. A strange new feeling filled me as I opened my eyes. I had never felt anything like this before. There was a quiet happiness inside me, and I almost floated out of bed like a little girl full of joy. There was only one face I wanted to see, Kenneth’s. I couldn’t stop thinking about everything that had happened last night. From the moment he knocked on my door to his request to take his twin brother’s place.
Last night, I felt pleasure in a way I never knew was possible. When you love someone, everything feels sweeter, deeper. Every touch from him sent a wave through my body. Even now, I could still feel it, the way he touched me, how he made me feel alive.
I quickly went to the bathroom to take a shower, humming my favourite song without thinking. A new day had begun, a fresh start. Could I feel this way again before he leaves? The thought stayed with me as warm water ran down my skin. I wondered how we could bring back the magic from last night.
“Yes!” I suddenly said aloud, an idea lighting up my mind. I remembered that I would be going with him to the airport.
“What if Sebastian wants to come with us this time?” I asked myself, still standing under the water.
“I would not agree,” I said, clenching my fist. It was like I was talking to my twin, but really it was just me. On the way to the airport, I would try to get him to have one last moment alone with me. But what if he said no? I asked myself. For a few seconds, my thoughts stopped, then came back stronger, saying:
“If he refuses, I will follow him onto the plane!”
I laughed out loud. The sound bounced off the bathroom walls. I was so full of excitement just thinking about Kenneth.
Later, standing in front of the mirror, I thought about what to wear to make him want me even more. Sebastian hardly crossed my mind. He felt far away, only coming back when I thought about wearing a mini skirt, knowing he would not like it. That’s when I really accepted he was there. When I used to watch love stories in movies, I thought those women were too dramatic. But now I understood, love puts you on a different wavelength.
I picked a skirt that showed off most of my legs and a pink top that revealed a little cleavage. Just as I was about to press my lips together after putting on lipstick, my phone rang. I ignored it. I already knew who it was and what he would say first:
“What are you waiting for? Won’t you come to my room?”
The call ended. Just as I turned away from the mirror, my phone rang again. It was Sebastian.
“Hi… dear,” I said, the word ‘dear’ feeling heavy on my tongue. I almost did not want to say it.
“My angel, how was your night?” he asked softly.
“It was fine,” I answered.
“Do you have a wall clock in your room?” he asked with a sharp tone. I knew it would not be long before his anger came out.
“What do you mean?” I asked, pretending I did not know what he was thinking.
“Anyway, come to my room. I need some help. My family wants to have breakfast together.”
When he said the word “together,” my mind went wild. I saw Kenneth’s face again, clear as day.
“Should I come to your room first, or go straight to breakfast?” I asked.
“To my room first,” he said louder than before. I knew he was already annoyed, but I was ready to stand my ground.
Just as I was about to leave the room, I suddenly remembered something that made me feel braver. I opened my bag, took a small sip from a bottle of alcohol, and sprayed my mouth with breath freshener. That little drink gave me the courage to meet Sebastian’s eyes without backing down. Lol.
Becky's Pov When I received Kenneth's two voice messages, I didn't hesitate. I believed he had gone out of my reach, and I didn't expect anything positive to come out of it. Without much thought, I pressed play to listen to the first audio message. "Hi Becky, um... I... I want to say something, but it's complicated. I don't really know where to begin. But I want you to know that the reason I left early was because I was in love with you. You might not understand my perspective. How could I bear seeing you in the arms of my brother when just a day ago, you were in mine? I've seen situations like this in movies, and I always thought they were just scripts. But you and I have created a script just like that in real life. I love you as if I've known you for a decade, and I can't comprehend how this has happened. I'm sorry I left, but I did it because I love you and didn't want to cause myself any more pain. I left because I couldn't bear to see my brother touch you or even kiss you in
Becky's POV. "Hello Becky, since you've decided to start hiding from me, I see no need to stay in your house..." What have I done? When did I hide from your mum? I spoke to myself, trying to recall the situation. The only thing I could remember was telling her that I was already at Sebastian's place after she kept calling me persistently. I sat down on the chair and waited, contemplating where my mum might be. "Maria's place?" I raised my right index finger, indicating my thoughts. So, I grabbed my phone and called my mother's closest friend. "Hello, Maria. Good evening. How was your day?" "I'm doing great, Becky..." "Is my mom at your place?" I interrupted her. "No." "Okay, I've been trying to reach her on her phone, but it's not connecting. Alright, bye. I'll keep trying." I ended the call and before I could dial my mom's number again, there was a knock on the door. "Mum!" I called.I had a strong feeling that my mom was standing right there at the door. It was
Author's pov Sebastian managed to stand up and made his way to the door. He leaned his crutches against the wall and opened the door. "Good morning, Mrs. Edna," he said, looking surprised. "Good morning, Sebastian. How was your night?" "I'm fine." He continued to stare at her, trying to see if Becky was standing nearby. Not seeing anyone, he refocused his attention on Becky's mom. "I came to see Becky." "Becky?" He exclaimed. "Becky is not here." "But she told me she had come to your place..." "My house? You can come inside and check for yourself," he replied, making way for Edna to enter the living room. "Why has Becky lied to me? I promised you she would come. We talked yesterday morning, and she said she would come here yesterday evening. She even texted me that she was here." "She's not here, Mrs. Edna," he reassured her. They were both standing when Sebastian's neighbor knocked on the door, and Sebastian went to meet him. "Where has she gone?" Edna wondered
Author's pov Daniella went inside to take her bath. There were three bathrooms in the house, but she decided to use Sebastian's master bedroom bathroom. Her brief time with Sebastian had made her feel at ease, and she had a different mindset towards him. She felt like she had captured Sebastian's heart and could do whatever pleased her. She entered his bathroom, took her bath while humming her favorite song. Inside the bathroom, there was a mirror. After Daniella had rinsed off the foam from her body, she stood in front of the mirror and admired herself. She playfully swung her large round breasts in the mirror and thought, "I hope I feel his hands on my boobs."She came out of the bathroom and wore Sebastian's blue boxers. Instead of wearing Sebastian's shirt, she opted for his white singlet, which highlighted her breasts from different angles. The edges near her armpits and her cleavage, along with her nipples, were prominently displayed. Joyful and confident, Daniella retur
Daniella's pov I'm feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as I head to Sebastian's house. What can I say or do to make Sebastian find me interesting? I don't even know his likes and dislikes. I was still thinking about how to make a good impression when the taxi stopped in front of Sebastian's house. The sun was setting, and as I walked towards the front door, I could feel my heart racing. This is something new for me, and I hope it goes well. I gently knocked on the door and waited. After a few minutes, I knocked again. "Who's at the door?" Sebastian asked, and I could hear some noise coming towards the door. "It's Daniella," I replied, pausing for a moment before the door opened. "What?" I screamed. "What happened to you?" I bent down and gently touched his injured leg. We were still at the door when I asked again. "What happened to you?" "So your friend didn't tell you?" he asked. "If I had known, why would I be so surprised? The last time we met, you weren't using c
Author's pov Daniella was heading to her workplace to submit some files, but she was consumed by the desire to secretly see Becky's boyfriend. So, she left her workplace on time, pretending to her boss that she wasn't feeling well. Around 1 pm, Daniella arrived in front of Sebastian's house. While sitting in the back seat of the taxi, she took out her red lipstick and applied it to her lips. She didn't consider herself particularly attractive, except for those men who preferred women with large breasts. In that department, she was well-endowed. It was the first thing you would notice about her. Instead of knocking on the door, Daniella pressed the doorbell, trying to maintain a smile on her face. She pressed the doorbell repeatedly, but there was no response. "Where could he have gone?" She checked her wristwatch and turned to look around the compound and saw only one of his cars. After a while, she decided to knock this time. "Hi..." she said, waiting for a response. When s
