Dylan’s POV

I stood at the glass wall of my office and watched her through the one way glass.

Sienna sat alone under the harsh overhead lights, her shoulders curved forward and her fingers moving across the keyboard with a stubborn, exhausted rhythm. The stack of folders Claire had dumped on her earlier was only half finished. Every few minutes she paused, pressed the heel of her hand against her temple, and blinked hard like she was fighting sleep.

I knew she had been framed. The timing was t

SIENNAI looked away immediately when our eyes met. I didn’t know why I’d suddenly become so aware of everything around me—but somehow all I could feel was Dylan’s stare. I forced myself to turn toward Zara and April instead.“Don’t look at him,” April whispered immediately.“I wasn’t looking at him.” I rolled my eyes. “You were absolutely looking at him.” April snapped, and Zara gave me a knowing look. “Sienna, that’s the exact same thing.”I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. “Can we please just focus on why I’m here? I’m here to watch rehearsals, remember?”April leaned closer. “Are you going to talk to him?”“No.” The answer came out so quickly that I even surprised myself.Zara raised an eyebrow. “You didn’t even think about it.”“Because there’s nothing to think about. I’m not going to meet him. I’m not going to talk to him. I’m not going anywhere near him.”April studied me for a moment. “You know you’re making this a lot more obvious by saying all of that, right?”Zara laugh

SIENNAThe next morning came with the sharp ringing of my phone. I groaned and buried my face deeper into the pillow, hoping whoever was calling would eventually get tired and give up.They didn't and the phone kept ringing. With a frustrated sigh, I reached out blindly, grabbed it from the bedside table, and answered without even checking the screen. “Hello?”“Sienna! Get up!” I pulled the phone away from my ear and frowned.Of course it had to be them. I heard Zara's voice first.“You're coming to watch the rehearsals today,” she continued, sounding far too energetic for someone calling this early in the morning.I closed my eyes again. “Zara, I don't think—”“Don't even think about saying no!”April's voice suddenly came from somewhere in the background, loud enough that I had to pull the phone away again.“We're already on our way to pick you up if we have to!”I groaned. “You two are unbelievable.”“That's not a no,” Zara said triumphantly.I stared at the ceiling. I really didn'

SIENNAI curled myself tightly beneath the blanket, I hated crying especially when it had to do with Dylan.I couldn’t see how I looked right now but no one had to tell me before I knew how swollen my face was. I could feel it. My chest still aches and my mind replayed how he treated me.Just as I grabbed my phone to call April , it started ringing again and Dylan’s name flashed across the screen. I kept the phone and looked away.It was hard to ignore him and even harder to tell myself that this time I would never give him the chance to hurt me again. The ringing finally stopped and when I checked the time it was almost midnight. By this time yesterday he’d made me feel like I am the best woman in the world.Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be after all. I pulled the blanket over my head and I’d barely caught sleep when I heard a loud honking from outside.I wiped the tears on my face and I stood up. Maybe dad didn’t go anywhere and he was back. How happy I was to cry in his arms. Not j

SIENNABy the time the taxi stopped outside my house, my eyes were swollen from crying. I paid the driver without saying much and hurried inside. The house felt strangely quiet. I wanted Dad—wanted to see his face and pretend that everything was fine. But when I reached the living room, I found only the maid. She immediately noticed my tear-stained face.“Miss Sienna?”I quickly wiped my cheeks. “Hi Martha.” “Are you alright? If you want I can call Mr Stanton on the phone.” She offered.“No. I’m fine.” I said quickly. “Why would you call him? Isn’t he at home?” I asked quickly. She looked unconvinced but didn’t press further. “Your father asked me to tell you that he had to leave for a business trip. It was urgent, so he left this evening.”My heart sank. “He traveled?”“Yes. He said he would call you when he arrived.”I nodded. “Okay. Thank you.”She hesitated. “Should I prepare something for you?”“No. I’m not hungry.”She nodded and quietly left me alone. I stood there rooted af

SIENNABy six in the evening, I had officially regretted listening to Dylan. I had spent the entire day inside his mansion doing absolutely nothing productive. I watched videos until my eyes ached, answered every message in the girls’ group chat, and even wasted nearly an hour scrolling through clothes I had no intention of buying. Somehow, I was still bored.I tossed my phone onto the bed and stared at the ceiling. “I should have gone to the office.” At least then I would have had something to do.I climbed out of bed and decided to explore the mansion. I had barely seen half of it. The place was enormous, with more rooms than anyone could possibly need. I wandered down one of the quieter hallways, trailing my fingers along the smooth walls as I admired the paintings. Then I noticed a door that looked different from the others. There was no handle I could simply turn. It appeared to be locked.Curiosity got the better of me. I glanced around—no one was in sight—and crouched to chec

SIENNAI ignored the amused looks I caught from Dylan as I finished the last of the pasta. Everytime our eyes met, I smiled awkwardly. “This is so delicious,” I said, and I meant it. Aside from Dad’s cooking, it was probably the best meal I’d ever tasted. Dylan was, without question, an excellent cook.I gathered the dishes and carried them into the kitchen while he stayed at the table, focused on his MacBook. He’d been working since after cooking. By the time I returned, he was still sitting there. That was when it hit me—he hadn’t eaten a single bite. I’d finished off the entire meal without a second thought.Nervously rubbing my fingers together, I took the seat opposite him. “Dylan… um, I kind of ate everything.”He glanced up from the screen and looked at me and simply nodded. “It’s fine. I wasn’t hungry anyway.” He said calmly. “I made the meal for you.”I swallowed. Something in the way he said it sent a quiet warmth through my chest. I quickly reached for my phone and op
