Camille's POV

"Get enough rest and drink plenty of water," The doctor urged, tapping on the file in her hands with a pen.   

"I know Doc, you've said that in the past week," I groaned. "It's just a few bruises. I've been fine like three days ago." 

"Well this isn't on me, young lady," Doctor Abby scoffed, a playful grin on her face. "Your dad and uncle made it specifically clear that all your bruises had to be healed before you're discharged. I'm not about to lose my job." 

Gav wasn't my uncle. I would tell her that but then I would have a lot of other explanations to do. I would rather not go down that road.  

"You're the professional, you should be able to help your patient's when their family members go all crazy!" I groaned. "I'm tired of this place. It stinks of disinfectant every single time."
