Valen’s POV

I needed to think fast. I can’t be caught! She was the one who cheated and I cannot be dragged into that web. I cannot give her a reason to say I cheated.

I cursed at Dada, he was the one that brought me to this mess in the first place. If he had not put ideas in my head, I would not be dismissed.

Veyra stood there in her pajamas, hair messy from sleep, she looked at us as if she had just seen the devil’s fiery ass.
