Ethan’s POV

My younger sister has her life, and so do I—or rather, should I.

Just because I’m the the first child doesn’t mean—

After a short while, I manage to contain my anger and, “I have one already. I’ll introduce you to her when the time’s right.” I speak as calmly as I can.

“If you’ll excuse me, I need to be in Poland right away.”

I stand up immediately, leaving my shock stricken parents alone in my office.

If they wish, they can continue having the conversation with my empty chair, or they can see themselves out.

Old bunch poking their noses into my business.

“Is the jet ready?” I walk briskly into the elevator.

Arthur’s right behind me as he should be.

“Yes, Sir. Everything’s prepared.”

Good.

My mind drifts off to Spitfire and her face appears. I smile.

I don’t know why I find her funny.

On a normal note, if someone else is doing just one percent of what she’s done—she does, I’d have skinned them alive.

But her…

The elevator doors slide open and we step out.
