Chapter 42: I'm Alright

“Well?” she says, her hands on her waist and her gaze probing me for answers “I'm waiting”

“It's not what you think” I mutter, like that excuse has ever worked in the history of ever.

She just glares in response.

“Fine, it's exactly what you think” I mutter, my voice so low it's almost a whisper.

I really wish she would stop glaring at me. I feel like a child caught with a boy by their mother.

“How long has this been going on?” she sighs.

“Umm… Not long, we only had sex once and then this kiss” I say, trying to show her it's nothing.

“You had sex!” She exclaims loudly.
