Still, the moment that he met Ms. Anderson, he realized that he couldn’t hold on to all the negative feelings that he had harbored for a while. After all, she didn’t treat him any differently, except for her son.

She treated him the same way she would treat anybody else, no matter if they were born here or not. And so far, she had never once done anything to indicate that she would be unhappy with the situation he had found himself in.

“Well, I’m glad to hear that. Now, do you want something to drink? I’ll get it ready right now. Do you want to sit down anywhere or should I go upstairs and get the glasses out for you?” she questioned, looking at him.

“You don’t have to worry about me. I’ll be fine by myself,” he said, waving his hand dismissively.
