Hayder's Obsession

Alpha Hayder's POV:

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, feeling a wave of anger and humiliation rising in my heart again. I could still hear Caden's words ringing in my ears, mocking me for losing to him.

I clenched my fists, feeling the blood rush to my face. He insulted me, threatened me and left me alive to carry the shame forever.

'He took Isla too! ' Warg, my wolf, appeared in my head.

'She's right here with us, Warg! 'I shouted back.

'Her heart and mind are in his pack. ' He snorted.

I slammed my fist into the mirror, ' I don't want her heart! '

I heard footsteps behind me and Amelia's thin frame appeared in the broken mirror.

"What… happened? " She asked, stuttering.

She could barely keep herself standing on her weak legs. I saw how her cheek bones had sharpened more and there was no fat on her face.

Whenever I would tell people that she was losing lots of weight, they would say that it's good for her health. But now when I looked at her, in that red gown which used
