I haven't seen my father in years. I didn't remember his appearance or how scary he could be. The scar on his face had healed a lot, and it looked terrifying. He got that when he fought the wolves in our last war. It was the motive for my father to decide to take the deal with the wolves.

He was a great warrior, but it was clear that the wolves had someone's help. As Alec said, an ordinary werewolf can't kill a polar bear; we are bigger and stronger.
