Inez came home late that night because of the dinner meeting she and her boss attended. She sees the lights are still on in their house. She can hear the sound of the TV. That’s why she knows her husband is still awake and waiting for her. She breathes in deeply, and she opens the door. She sees her husband, Kloud, sitting on our sofa, focusing on his laptop.

“Hey… I’m home…” she said tiredly. He stopped what he was doing and looked at her with no interest. “Sorry, I got home late again.”

“That’s okay. We have become accustomed to it," he responded. “Have you eaten?” he asked. I took off my heels and sat beside him.

“Yes, we have a dinner meeting. Where’s Greena?”

“She’s sleeping already.” He suddenly stands up and closes his laptop. “I’m just going to clean up the table. You get some rest. Do you want some milk?”

“Yes, babe, thank you… I’ll go first in our room.” He just nodded his head, and he went to the kitchen.
