Meeting Him!

"Alright Dean. We'll be joining you shortly." Reya spoke into the phone before stuffing it into her purse. Then she faced Sierra who had just finished her meal not too long ago in hopes that they would leave soon. "Dean can't make it here so he asked us to join him at the casino."

"Where he works?" Sierra corked her eyes at Reya who shrugged in response. "Can I just go home already? I don't think I can make it that far. I need to rest and try to get myself started for the next day."

"Oh please." Reya brushed her off. "You just want to go home and sulk all through the night but that's not gonna work on me. Nora has been subdued by the doctors and you staying home isn't really going to change anything so I forbid it. Plus, the hotel's not far away from here, so let's go." Reya pushed herself up from her seat and Sierra followed suit.

Her disagreeing not to go wasn't because she had anything important to do at home but she'll be approximately ten inches closer to him all night and to make it worse, she'd be stuck with the two of them and she didn't want that. Her sister's condition had already broken her heart to pieces, she didn't want it to hurt more than it already did but Reya is very persistent. If she was against the president of the country in an election, she'd bet her card that Reya would emerge victorious, no doubt.

Without having much to say concerning the matter, she followed Reya. They arrived at the hotel shortly after and made their way through the lobby that led to the elevator. When they got inside, Reya punched the buttons to the top floor that led to the casino where the club and bar is also located. Sierra wasn't surprised that Reya knows this kind of stuff. Her boyfriend works here anyways and she must've come here to see him countless times.

"This place is hugeee!" Sierra exclaimed when they stepped into the bar, her voice drowning In the music that blasted through the stereos located at different angles.

"I know right?" Reya countered proudly. "Dean told me that the owner of this place is a business tycoon. I can only imagine the money he has everytime I step my foot into this fucking place. It screams money!"

They walked through to half crowded space and arrived at the counter where the bartender served drinks. Reya asked around for Dean while Sierra tried to make herself comfortable on one of the high stools.

"Does this pretty lady fancy anything for the night?" A bartender approached her stool from the other side and Sierra titled her head to the side in indecision.

"Can i get a shot of martini mixed with vodka please?" She flashed him a killer smile and he winked at her before whipping up her order. She had always known her way around drinks. Her father was an influential man in the country and at a point in her life, she was a budding, carefree teenager until life happened. Now, she's nothing but a young adult navigating her way through this preposterous stress called life.

"Thank you!" She whispered when he brought her order and she drowned the contents in one gulp.

"Slow down. You know that you can't tolerate alcohol." Reya primped in a concerned manner. "I don't want to babysit you tonight"

"Tonight's about coming out of the house and not sulking, right?" She asked and when Reya didn't respond, she ordered another bottle of tequila. She raised up the bottle for Reya to see. "Cheers to not sulking tonight and living life to the fullest!" She made a toast to herself and filled up her glass.

"Who knows, I might never get a chance to do this ever again so why not go all out now that I have the chance to?" Being out here reminded her of the life she once had and how it got destroyed. Now, she's straddled with two many burdens and it sucked. She hated it. She just wanted things to go back to how they once were. She would give anything in this world to have the life she had once lived. Was that too much to ask?

"I'll go get Dean so we can leave. I'll be right back in a few minutes Sierra so sit here and don't go anywhere, okay?" Reya informed her and she answered absentmindedly with a peace sign in the air before she stormed off. It's not like she had anywhere else to go in the first place. She doesn't even know her way around this godforsaken place so how could she leave?

Minutes into the night, she stuffed her stomach with alcohol. Each glass she took only encouraged her to take more. She thought about how everyone was doing okay with their lives and how hers had turned useless. She felt like a big giant party pooper that sucked the fun out of everyone's lives. The fun sponge.

Soon enough, the alcohol started kicking and it felt as if she was floating in thin air. Her eyes became blurry and she couldn't see properly too. She needed to find Reya before she passed out here. Sierra scanned throughout the entire crowd present but her so called best friend was no where to be seen. Damn that girl! She couldn't believe that she had left her for dead. She's probably going at it with Dean right to care about her now.

Sierra scoffed. Friends? they're never there when you need them. What was she supposed to do now? Going home on her own was definitely not an option except she wanted to suffer the fate of running into gangsters who might take advantage of her. Shit!

"Reya?" She called out in the loudest voice that she could muster. The stero being her biggest competition. The fucking device. Standing up to her feet, she staggered through the thick crowd. She bumped into a huge wall but before she fell to the ground, huge pair of hands grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer in an attempt to rescue her.

She purred in content when her nostrils caught a whift of his cologne. Whatever smelt this nice was divine and heavenly. She tried to pull herself away from his strong clutch but he only held on tighter. The damn bastard!

"Um... Reya..." She blabbed out incoherent words that even she didn't understand. Fuck it! And that's when it hits her that she's wasted. Why on earth did she even have to drink so much In the first place? She couldn't even hold a bottle down.

"Are you okay, Piccola?" A strong, deep masculine voice resonated through her ears leaving her mesmerized. What exactly is happening to her? How many glasses did she take? Probably the whole bottle since nothing seemed to make any sense to her at this point.

"Yeah..." She smiled through her drunken state as she tried to steady her staggering feet. She raised her head slowly in a bid to get a glimpse of her rescuer but she couldn't see his face properly. Was he wearing a mask or her brain playing tricks on her? And what's with the bulky looking men dressed elegantly in a suit? Was she at a wedding? Everything looked blurry and dazed through her eyes.

"No you're not." He leaned in and whispered to her ears causing her stomach to tie up in knots. Was this an involuntary action or the alcohol talking?

"Let's get you out of here." He went further to say. Still holding her up, he led them outside the bar while she rested her full weight on him. This night really wasn't going according to how she had anticipated it. Fuck you Reya!
