Vianne's POV

After taking my bath and slipping into my usual Sunday dress, I went back downstairs to join my parents for breakfast.

The moment I took the seat next to Theo, the door suddenly flung open and Levi strolled into the house with an uneasy look.

I was surprised he finally decided to show up, after all his efforts to stay out of the house as if his father was a monster.

Everybody, including me, instantly turned towards the door and stared at Levi, who stood at the doorstep, looking almost too awkward to take a step forward.

I turned and took a quick glance at Theo to see the expression on his face, surprisingly he was smiling, he seemed excited to see his son who has been away for days.

“You came just in time,” Theo said, his voice suddenly calm—too calm to be normal. “Come on, join us for breakfast, Levi.” he added warmly.
