“Honey, breakfast is ready!” Sophia screamed out from the kitchen. She assumed that her husband should be done dressing up and ready to leave for work.

“Honey?” She called out to him again but got no response. Sophia resumed to dishing the food into the plates.

Derrick strode into the kitchen and stopped at the entrance. He watched his wife hum a song as she washed a few utensils in the sink. Slowly he tiptoed further into the kitchen with a plan to sneak up and scare his wife.

“Oh my goodness!” Sophia jumped in fear when she felt something snake around her waist.

“Scaredy cat.” Derrick cooed into her ears.

“You scared me!” Sophia wiggled out of the embrace as she turned to face him. “You aren’t dressed yet.” She raised her brows when she saw that his chest was bare and he had his boxers on.

Derrick smirked at her. “What’s going on honey? Aren’t you going to work today?” Sophia asked.
