wow!! what is Sasha's aim? She doesn't know the path she's treading, somebody warn her !!😱😱. So, guys, guess who'll be present in our next chapter. if guessed correctly, I'll do a double update 💃
“Sas, you're intelligent. You seem to know more about OTECH,” he remarked and she laughed. “Who wouldn't be interested in knowing about OTECH?” She asked with a smile. He smiled and nodded. “So, we move on to the party plan,” she said, wrapping his hair smoothly in a bun. “Yeah, I'll send a letter of invitation to OTECH, we'll need some of their representatives to be here for the party,” he said. “Ken is here,” she reminded him. “I know, but others would be present too. Where and when the party will take place will be scheduled after a meeting at the office tomorrow,” he said. “Don't cross over to my territory, Sir,” she warned. “Everything is in your hands. I'll rather not intervene with the party plan,” he surrendered. “Better,” she stroked his chin and they both laughed. There was a moment of silence as their eyes met while staring at their reflection in the mirror. They stared at each other for a while and then she looked away slowly. “Sas,” he called, standing up f
It was all shades of elegance and class at the Crystal Gardens, as Exotic cars were seen moving into the Garden gates. The dark atmosphere was lit up with beautiful artificial crystal lights which were hung all around the garden trees. Large decorated tables and chairs were also seen at different corners of the garden where a few people occupied. Slow music played in the background, and the happy voices of people moving to and fro were heard. The clattering of glasses wasn't exempted as men laughed and cheered to success. Looking bodacious in a black tuxedo, Ryker was spotted at the paved walkway, stepping into the party. Alongside him was Sasha, ravishingly dressed in a red short draped dress with short bogus sleeves. They were a sight to behold and there was a round of applause from the men and women already gathered at the party. Ryker waved back with his lips plastered with a warm smile. “Congratulations, Mr Ryker,” a middle aged lady in black suit dress welcomed him wit
She raced as fast as her feet could carry her, up the stairs and then to the elevator. Bolting out of the elevator, she ran along the passageway and finally stopped in front of the suite door. She could see the men in black suits, mounted in front of the door and they made way for her to go in. The automatic door slid open at last and she began to breathe heavily with a smile of victory plastered on her red small lips. Inside the luxury suite, Samantha was seen in a spacious room, sitting in front of the large mirror shelf. Her glam team were present, working their ass off to ensure she looked her best for tonight. Her pretty face was glowing with makeup, and her mint green net dress breathed Elegance. Her glossy grey lips were all smiles as she stared at her splendid appearance in the mirror. The smile on her lips quickly diminished as Anna's reflection appeared in the mirror. She turned swiftly, and her heart twitched, seeing Anna, gasping for breath. “Ann, are you alright?”
She strode towards the table where Mrs Clyde and Aunt Susan were both reclining. She gave them warm hugs and also said hi to other members of the family at the table. “Ryker is doing a perfect job,” Aunt Susan commented, smiling at Samantha. “Thanks, Aunt,” Samantha laughed. “Ryan is back. But don't be scared, my son is a changed person,” Mrs Clyde smiled. “It's fine, mother,” Samantha smiled wryly. “Now, go sit beside your husband. I'm not comfortable with the way he's parading his PA as his wife,” Aunt Susan remarked. Samantha smiled briefly and nodded. She could see Ryker's hardened face looking in her direction, with Sasha seated beside him. Walking to the table, Sasha gave her a warm smile. “Sam, look at you, looking so great,” she remarked. Samantha smiled wryly with her arms akimbo. Sasha made a confused face, wondering what the stare was all about. “You're in my place,” Samantha groaned. “Oh,” Sasha chuckled as she stood up in embarrassment and moved over to t
“Let me go, I need to teach her a lesson!!” Aisling cried, pulling away from Ryan. “Aisling!!” He growled and grabbed her hands tightly. “Are you taking sides with her?!” Aisling cried. “You can't lay a finger on her,” he explained. “Who's she to you?!” She barked. “She's pregnant as you can see,” he whispered, trying to contain her. Just then, Mariah walked in stylishly. “What's going on here? I've been looking all over the place for you, Ryan,” she said, looking at him. “A stupid pregnant woman slapped me,” Aisling cried. “You insulted her and she slapped you,” Ryan corrected. “I don't get it, who is she?” Mariah asked, in curiosity. “I guess you don't know,” Ryan chuckled, turning to Aisling. “She's Samantha, Mr Ryker's wife,” he revealed and her eyes bulged. “What?!” Mariah exclaimed, taking off her glasses. “Oh, shit!! You should have told me!!” Aisling cried with her eyes wide open. “You're fired!!” Mariah pointed at her and walked out angrily. “Ma'am!!” S
The hallway was noiseless as she walked out of her suite. She hasn't seen Ryker nor any member of the family. Stepping out of the elevator at the second floor, she hastened towards the restroom area. The whole place was calm and void of people. The Clyde's family had booked the whole building for the party tonight. It was late and a lot of people might have probably dispersed from the party, she thought. Moving into the female area, she was welcomed by loud moans from the last door. She tiptoed, making slow movements towards the door. She stopped as she saw the door opened and her mouth dropped open as she saw a man in a familiar brown suit banging a lady from behind. “Come on, Ken, come on,” the lady's voice echoed in ecstasy. Samantha's eyes widened, recognizing the lady as Claris. “Oh, shit,” she muttered, retracing her steps. She stopped. Unsure of what to do, she brought out her phone. Walking out into the garden, she walked gently towards Mrs Clyde who was making a
Walking into the room, he found Samantha sobbing with her head resting on her knees. “Honey,” he called, rushing towards her. “Let me be,” she cried, pushing him away. “I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I will never hurt you again, I promise you,” he cried. She raised her head and she could see the emotions written all over his face. “Tell me the truth. Were you cheating on me with Sasha?” She asked amidst tears. “No, you're just overthinking stuff because of your condition. Just stop, I'll never cheat on you with Sasha,” he pleaded with his eyes filled with emotions. She sniffed and wiped off her tears. “I'm sorry that I haven't been able to give you sex,” she cried. “It's fine.. I'll wait till you're healed,” he assured. “And why hasn't doctor Jean showed up for the treatment?” She asked. “Because you're pregnant. We can't continue while you're pregnant. We have to wait till you've delivered,” he explained tenderly. “I can't wait to give you sex, Ryker. I don't feel happy when
He walked into the room and found her sitting on the bed, caressing her baby bump. A smile warmed up in his lips as he walked closer to the bed. She watched him sit on the bed and he leaned forward and kissed her bump. “He'll be so handsome like his father,” he said tenderly while caressing her bump. “Surely,” she smiled broadly, looking down at his face. “Sam, thank you for this. This means a whole lot to me,” he said, looking up at her face. “You cried when you saw him. You must be overwhelmed by so many thoughts,” she muttered softly. He smiled wryly and kissed her bump again. “Yes, thoughts about me and Vanessa, wishing and hoping for the day we would become parents,” he reminisced, stroking her bump tenderly. She kept silent as a lump formed in her throat while staring at his face which was now clouded with emotions. “Vanessa and I wanted to name our first son Billy,” he laughed. “Why didn't it work out? Did you opt for surrogacy? Ivf and other conception methods
The receptionist welcomed them warmly as they stopped before her desk. “We were the ones who reached out to you on the phone, concerning Mr Ken who was lodging at your hotel last night,” Ryker related to the female receptionist whose face was locked in a smile. “Oh, Mr Ryker of CTECH,” she awed, getting up from her seat at once. “We want every information we can get about him. We know this is out of work ethics, but it's urgent. He has a wedding today and he's nowhere to be found,” Ryan explained with enthusiasm. “Oh, that's sad,” the lady said, picking up her phone. “I'll contact my manager before giving out any info,” she said, typing on her telephone. The men waited impatiently. “I'll be back,” she said, walking away. Not long, she walked in with a man in his early forties, dressed in a black fitted suit. They all exchanged pleasantries and handshakes. “From the information gathered by the receptionist, he checked out at around 11:15pm. He was with a lady and they b
It was a beautiful yet chaotic morning at the Clyde's mansion. Everyone was seen preparing for the big day. Sophia, glamorously fitted in her white wedding dress, was standing before the mirror as her glam team placed her veil over her head. “Still no news from Claris?!” She snapped angrily at her bridesmaids who were all dressed beautifully in pink. “No, her line is not connecting,” one of the girls replied. “Oh, jeez!!” Sophia cried in frustration. The door opened and Claris walked into the room, still dressed in her last night's outfit. “I can't believe you aren't even dressed yet!!” Sophia fired. “Aww, beautiful sis. I'm so sorry, I got a call last night from my boyfriend and he asked that I spend the night over,” she related, feigning pity. “Same invisible boyfriend who never shows his face!” Sophia scoffed. Claris smirked. “So sorry, sweetie. By the way, you're looking, muah,” she teased, blowing her a kiss. “Do you realize you're supposed to be my maid of hono
They both gasped for breath as they pulled away from each other. “I love you, Ken, please don't leave me for my sister,” Claris cried, holding on to his shoulders tightly. He wiped the perspiration off his face and held her slender waists. “I can't break Sophia's heart,” he whispered to her face. She shoved him away and he sighed as he watched her weep heavily. “I'll see you inside,” he said and walked away from her. She sat on the floor weeping with her hair falling over her face. Just then, she felt a presence beside her. She looked up and saw Sasha standing a few meters away from her. “Hey,” Sasha called gently. “Go away, I don't need you here!” She thundered. “Why cry over that man when you can be like me?” Sasha laughed, sipping her drink elegantly. Claris wiped her eyes and looked at Sasha in an abstruse manner. “What are you talking about?!” She snapped. Sasha smirked. “I saw you guys,” she spilled. Claris jumped up from the floor. She threw her hair be
It was an all white party at the Clyde's mansion. Sophia was having her spinsters eve, alongside her girls. A small family party was also taking place at the garden and members of the Clyde's family were seen partying hard. Ryker walked in, casually dressed in a blue silk sweatshirt and black pants. Alongside him was Sasha, dressed in a white satin sleeveless dress which flowed down her toes. They both walked towards Mrs Clyde who was sitting alongside Aunt Susan and two middle aged women. “Where is baby Ryette?” Aunt Susan asked almost immediately. “Oh, he's with Ryan. He's taken a liking for the baby so much and he wouldn't let anyone come close,” Mrs Clyde related with a smile. The women laughed and Aunt Susan smiled. “That's his first nephew, you should let him be,” she remarked and they all laughed again. Ryker's face pulled into a frown as he walked away from the table where the women were seated. “What's wrong?” Sasha asked, throwing her hair behind her shoulders.
His alluringly soothing voice was heard, singing rhymes to the baby as they both took a walk in the garden. It was a perfect afternoon and the atmosphere was cool and mild. Baby Ryette, dressed in a black pinafore shorts and white facecap was seen in Ryan's arms as they took a shade under a tree in the garden. Anna was also seen walking behind them, holding a small basket. She spread a picnic cloth on the green grass and Ryan placed the baby on it. “Can he sit yet?” He asked, trying to make him sit. “Yes, he can sit for a while,” Anna replied with excitement. “Ta-da,” Ryan said happily as baby Ryette sat on the grass, and a few set of toys were placed before him. He laid on the grass, watching the baby play. His heart engrossed with emotions and his lips broadened with a smile. He doesn't know this feeling he was getting with the baby. It was a kind of different feeling which he couldn't explain. Ever since he set eyes on baby Ryette, it felt like Samantha was back in
Ken pulled Sophia into the room and shut the door behind her. He watched her pull away from him and she walked over to the window angrily. “Babe, stop it. Our big day is close, and you shouldn't give yourself a headache,” he said tenderly as he walked closer to her. “I hate Ryan so much. Look what he did out there? In front of the family?! Oh, that's crazy. I shouldn't have told him about Vanessa's death, oh!” She lamented with her hand running into her hair. Ken paused for a moment, staring at her. “You..you know something about Vanessa's death?” He asked. She looked up quickly and made a face. “Um..no, um..I mean, I shouldn't have informed him about her death. Look what he did out there, accusing Ryker of killing both Vanessa and Samantha,” she scoffed. He sighed and sat on the armchair close to the window. “Is there something I need to know about your family?” He asked seriously as he looked deep into her eyes. “Ken, come on. Ryan is sick!” She laughed, shaking her h
“You look so great, baby,” Ryker teased, watching Sasha brush her long hair in front of the mirror. “Thanks, love. I'm just nervous, knowing Aunt Susan is out there. She gives me the shrills,” Sasha lamented with a sigh. “She's got nothing on you. Don't be scared. As soon as Sophia's wedding is over, I'll let the whole family know of my intention to marry you,” he said, walking towards her. She made a face and turned to look at him. “We..we never really talked about marriage,” she said with a scoff. “I know,” he said, taking hold of her hands. “But I want you to be my bride,” he said with a smile. “Ryker.. it's too early for such..people..,” she tried to speak. “Shh,” he hushed her with his finger on her red lips. “Sas, I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” he said softly while looking into her beautiful round eyes. “Ryker, I..,” she tried to speak but was interrupted by loud voices from outside the building. “What's going on?” Ryker asked, walking to the wind
It was dim as he walked into the room. He could see her silhouette standing by the window side. “Ryker,” he heard her frail voice calling. “Mother,” he responded calmly. Standing beside her, he took a clear view of her face which was adorned with makeup. She was stunningly dressed in a black velvet dress with a sharp cape neckline. “Where have you been?” He asked grumpily. “Been out with Mr Daren,” she replied with a voice void of emotions. He made a face as he looked at her abruptly. “You've been fucking that lawyer again!!” He slammed, his grey eyes flamed with fury. “Yes, and everything I'm doing is for you, Ryker. I'm giving up my body, my dignity, my peace of mind and my mental health, all for you, my son,” she spoke with a shaky voice brewing emotions. “Mother, just stop!” He voiced out angrily with his hands raised. “Look what they did, Ryker. It's clear Mark never liked you. You saw what he did with his will. If we weren't able to manipulate our way to the compa
The baby naming ceremony was conducted soon after Samantha was laid to rest. The next day, the whole family was seated for the reading of Mr Clyde's Will. Ryan was still absent, but the reading commenced anyway. In the large living room was Sophia, seated beside her fiance Ken. Ryker and Sasha were also spotted sitting together on the next couch. Opposite them was Mrs Clyde and Claris, while Aunt Susan sat on a single sofa with her legs crossed elegantly. The lawyer, a middle aged man in his fifties, was sitting on the middle couch, preparing his files. Everyone listened attentively as the lawyer read out the will diligently. “The landed properties, beach club, and real estate both in Zurich and in the United States will be inherited by my only surviving sister, Susan,” the lawyer read out. A warm smile appeared on Aunt Susan's lips and she could see Sophia smiling at her. Mrs Clyde forced a smile on her lips as her eyes met with Aunt Susan. Ryker's face hardened and he took
