It was partially cloudy as the boat sped along the green lake waters. Mrs Clyde sat alongside the two men in black outfits as the boat headed towards the shores.

She took a slow glance at Susan whose unconscious body was covered with a big blanket and heaps of sacks.

Her face hardened and she looked away slowly. She shut her eyes for a moment, her heart heavy with bitterness.

“It was all your fault, Mark!! If you hadn't betrayed my trust for you, I wouldn't become the monster I am today,” she soliloquized as she opened her eyes and heaved a sigh.

These were a series of flashbacks occuring in her head and she gulped, with tears clouding her eyes.

FLASHBACK

“I'm sorry, it will take only a miracle for the baby to be able to reproduce in the future,” the doctor's voice was heard in the office.

Sara broke into tears, looking at her husband, Mark, who was sitting beside her.

He pulled her closer and patted her back.

“Doctor, please do anything,” Mark's brass voice was heard,
