PHOENIX POV

I enter the ring and into position, Nathaniel starts off, and I block and counter with my own.

“So, what did you want to know?”

“Your gift. You have control of it, don’t you?”

“Yes, I mastered control over it when I was young,”

“Can you tell me about the connections between Scarlett and me?”

“I could, but why should I?”

I throw a few more combos at him with both punches and kicks as he blocks most of them.

“Okay, I admit I have been less than good to your sister lately, but I want to make it up to her, please!”

“Okay,”

He steps back a little and looks at me. He then has this look of confusion across his face.

“Other than a weak blood bond, you do not have a connection with Scarlett.”

From his expression, I didn’t think I would like that answer.

“What about you? What’s your connection like with her?”

“I.. I.. Nooo,” he yells as he runs out of the ring. I follow close behind as he goes straight to Dominic's office.
