I can't help myself, with being this close to her for so long I cover my scent and carefully move to the side of the bed and without making the bed itself move I lean over and place a kiss softly on her lips which she returns in her sleepy state, I then move back over and sit in what I have claimed as my chair
"H? Was Nix here?" comes her soft voice shortly after.
"No, Scarlett, he hasn't been here. You never told him where we were."
"H, you look really tired. How long have you been sitting there?"

MIKE POV I was surprised when H said he was taking some time to himself, as he has been glued to the princess since we have been here and even more after she was attacked and lost her baby. Not that I blame him the Blood Moon is approaching which is hard on all of us and once we get back to the castle, we will be going back to our normal patrol and guard duties, so he probably won't get another chance to let off some steam.The time here with Scarlett has been great. Once we walk inside, I am overwhelmed by the number of dresses in front of me. I slowly move through the rows and rows of all different styles of dresses. I lose Serenity at some stage around the shop. H POVAfter she has disappeared into her closet, I get off the bed, put my shoes back on, and then leave her room. I head to mine, change into my training pants and then head out to the back grass area. I start my stretches while I wait for Scarlett to join me. Once she does, I help her with her stretches again. It still makes me smile with pleasure as I skim my hands over her, helping her stretch. We then move on to a light sparring session.She, of course, doesn't realise it yet, but just for today, I allow her to get me on my back a couple of times. It is the quickest way to bring up her confidence in herself again and it also allows me to enjoy when she sits on top of me to complete the pin. We spend the session not really sparring but playing, laughing and seeing who could pin who the most.I feel as soon as the atmosphere between us changes, I can tell she feels it too, but I don't expect her to freeze halfway through one of her moves. SCARLETT POVI wake up in the morning and stretch. For some reason, my body is pleasantly sore. It feels like one of the mornings after Phoenix or Soren has loved me entirely and completely. I smile a small smile to myself as I get up and notice I don't have my nightdress on but I don't pay any attention to it; I go into the bathroom and have a shower, as I know Serenity and I are going to take the day to get ready for the Blood Moon Ball tonight.
