I smile at her concern. "Scarlett is fine. I have a couple of questions for you.."

"Okay, I will answer what I can."

"How often does a she-wolf go into heat? And do they have to be in heat to conceive?"

"A normal she-wolf if she is not already pregnant goes into heat for about three to four days once every three to four months. A lot of it depends on the she-wolf. No, it is easier for them to conceive when they are in heat, but because a she-wolf is also part human, they can conceive at any time."

"After Scarlett lost our daughter, is there a possibility that she could be heading into her wolf's heat again?"

"Yes, she could, but she asked me to give her something to make sure she didn't end up pregnant to the male that attacked her... Unfortunately, there is a chance that because she only had it a day or two ago, there is no way she will conceive from you either, at least for a few more weeks yet.."
