We knew that some of the pack members wouldn’t like too many vampires around and that they wouldn’t believe that Seraphina was a werewolf, so Phoenix and I stayed at the edge of the woods just waiting. I was keeping an eye on security but I was also watching Phoenix who had his eyes on Scarlett, I can tell he was trying very hard not to run out there and wrap his arms around her, hold her tight, never let her go and I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t.

I listen to what is going on in the circle. I see Seraphina shift. She shakes her fur out like she always does and then howls. As per our agreement, Phoenix and I exit the woods with Seraphina’s spare clothes in hand. Phoenix is still watching Scarlett, and she is stealing glances at him whenever she can as well.
