TINA POV

I didn't quite tell the princess the whole truth. I have met the king a couple of times as I am the Alpha's daughter. Since my mother was killed by a rogue vampire, my father has hated them all and this peace has slowly pushed him over the edge, but I need to know if there is anything to what he says or if what she says is true, I need to know the truth.

I put the piece of paper into my inside zipped pocket, strip and shift. I send a quick message to my father.

"Dad, I am going for a run to town"

"Okay sweety, be back before dark. That's when all the vampires come out to steal our kind."

"I will be, love you."

I run and run until I reach the vampire king's territory. As soon as I cross, I have a vampire approach me; he says.

"I know you are no rogue, so I am assuming you are, Tina. If you could shift, I will escort you to the Grayblood clan."

He surprises me by turning his back to me. No one in their right mind would turn their back on a wolf, especially one they do not know.
