It was strange I have never felt safe sleeping in a place I don’t know, but here I had the best night's sleep I have ever had. Maybe it was because I knew that my father finally couldn't join me in the middle of the night. I had a shower and Glen’s mate Danna, I finally found out her name, lent me one of her sundresses.I exit the room and head to where Ricardo told me the kitchen was. I stand in the doorway and just watch. It was like any normal morning at the packhouse. Kids ran in and out, grabbing breakfast on the way out the door to do whatever they had planned for the day. I sit by the window and wait for Stefan; he needs to see how far Dad has fallen, maybe then I could get him to believe that he has been lying to us our entire lives, that vampires are not all bad, he is nearly there I am hoping this will tilt him over the edge and make him finally challenge and take Dad's Alpha position.True to his word, not too long later, I hear a knock on the door.
