Gareth's gaze was fixed on Lucas as if he wanted to murder him but Lucas was looking at him with a teasing smile. Ava was looking at both of them as she thought Gareth would take out his gun to shoot him directly in the head but he turned towards her to whisper as his expressions changed while talking to her. "You fine?" He asked as Ava avoided looking in his mesmerizing black eyes. No matter how he was treating her she still felt soothing sensation on engulfing by his woody scent but his eyes had a different affect on her. "Sit." He said after Ava shook her head a little after hearing him. He made her sit on the couch by grabbing her by her arms. She was looking pale.
AVA'S POV:"I want you to give me a chance." His words kept ringing inside my head as if they could explode my nerves. It's been two days and he hadn't come home. I felt like he was giving me time to think of it and I was still thinking. That man indirectly kidnapped me forcefully married me and kept me away from my aunt. But because of me his brother got killed and he didn't even mourn over him. I felt guilty of everything but I never felt bad for him on losing his brother. He was heartless who treated others with no mercy. These things had made me decide to never give him a chance but his attitude towards me when I started throw
I ran towards the room with my heart beating fast. Ascending the stairs I sprinted towards my room to find my old suitcase placed at the side of the bed. I walked over to grab the handle in order to lie it down before opening it. On opening my suitcase the first thing that came before my sight was that important thing. A picture of me, with my parents, on my birthday. I was so small in that looking like a fairy in that pink floral dress with my most handsome father and beautiful mother standing on my either sides. That picture was taken by Uncle Jonathan. Everyone was good and happy when my parents were alive. But once they were gone, darkness consumed my fate. Everything changed with the sun set of the day when my parents left me.
The digital alarm clock made me to flutter my eyelashes as I whined a little for my sleep to get disturbed. The duvet was still covering my eyes as I laid on my stomach but my eyes shot opened when I heard his masculine voice. "I think you don't want to go to college." He was smirking as I abruptly got up to see him putting his wrist watch. He heard me whining! I totally forgot that I had to go to college. I set the alarm clock five times as I didn't want to be late. I turned to switch it off as it was 7:30. I wasn't late. A relief showered over my body. I glanced up at him who was glancing down at me with glint in his eyes. Was I missing something? I felt like he was smiling looking at me.
The day passed in blur as I got a lot of work to be done on the very first day. "You want a ride?" Ben asked as he was wearing his helmet and gloves. He had a bike as Sasha was going towards her car. They both were staring at me for an answer. "No my..." I couldn't say husband. "... driver would pick me up." I said and both shook their head. Meanwhile a black car came to park beside me. Gareth was here. "Hey my angel." He got down from the car removing his sun glasses. I was glad he left the guards at the main door. I didn't want attention. "How did it go?" He asked taking my hand in his to place a kiss on it as I wanted to gleam at him and tell him everything about my first day but a clea
"Do you love me?" I asked him as my lower lip puckered out a little. It was childish but I couldn't help it. His thumbs were stroking my cheeks as the silence of the night was still hanging in there. I wanted to ask him that if he loved me he shouldn’t let me follow the diet chart anymore but it came out something else. The question made him stiff as I got to know that was serious. Emotional things were far more serious for him. He was looking stunned by my question as he wasn't expecting that or the question was too hard for him to answer. He never said he loved me or he liked me. I wanted my answers. He was a difficult man. His ropes were toxic. He had to leave behind all the darkness if he wanted to move forward with me.
Ava's POV: It's been a week since I had talked to him. He sat on the dining table for a mere second and then left without saying anything. Same happened with the dinner. He wasn't giving me time to talk to him neither I was trying to talk to him. Sophia was examining everything as it was evident that something was off between us but she wasn't asking anything. I glanced up at the professor talking about anatomy. A skeleton was placed in front of us with a femur bone in our hands. This glass was draining or I was tired of thinking about Gareth. "Is he still trying to be friends with you?" Sasha asked as I shook my head. She was t
"What are you doing here?" I gulped standing up as I turned around to find uncle Jonathan looking at me with hatred like always. He didn’t like my father as after his demise the hatred tuned towards me. Patriarchy! There were only two feelings in his eyes whenever he used to look at me. Hatred and anger! "I-I just c-came...to...meet..." I stammered badly as all the fear came back. "You drowned our name in the neighbourhood by running away and now you are here with this unfortunate face of yours you little piece of..." He was about to say something bad as he lunged at me to grab my elbow in harsh manner."...if you think I will give you space in my home after all you have done then forget about that." He was jerk
