Growing Bond

As soon as Kelsey shut the door of her apartment, she let out a big sigh and quickly went to the bathroom to splash cold water on her blushed face.

“Oh my goodness, that was so breathtaking. I felt like sucking his luscious pink lips. Oh, what a juicy dude! …Wait, girl! Am I falling for my boss or what? I think he likes me too or maybe I should stop overthinking things and just sleep right now? She fantasized.

Meanwhile, as the boss entered his room…

Oh, men! …. Baddest Hottie! …. D*mn! He emphasized as he grinned excitedly while rubbing his hands in a quick motion. 

He jumped on his bed and thought of the strategy to use to pursue Kelsey without making her uncomfortable as she’ll be living in his house onwards and will also resume work as his P.A on Monday.

He hopes she takes him seriously and things move speedily between them as he intends to marry her as soon as she agrees but he has to take it slow at the moment. 30minutes had passed and he was still nursing her thoughts in his heart when his phone rang.

“Hello Aunty Kimberly, happy hols.

“My baby, how’re you? Happy holiday!

“Thanks, Aunty Kim” They chatted for a while and he asked to speak with her bestie.

“Katherine”, she called out.

Aunty Kimberly Jacobson and Katherine Jefferson who is Keith’s mum have been best friends since their University days and they have been through the highs and lows of life together. They also share the same hobby of arts and painting and co-own an art studio. Since their husbands died, they decided to now live together in a mini-mansion in Beverly Hills and spend their time either at their successful art studio or traveling around the world.

“Hello baby”, Mrs. Katherine Jefferson said excitedly.

“Hi Mamalicious, how’re you… You and Aunty Kimmy sound very happy and it warms my heart”

Both Kathy and Kimmy burst into laughter and they talked heartily with Keith for a while.

Before hanging up, they prayed for him as they do regularly and also talked about him settling down with a good wife and raise amazing children.

After the call, Keith knew he had to catch some sleep so as to be well-rested before he takes Kelsey out in the evening.

Both of them had a very good nap and came out of their rooms at the same time. Kelsey didn’t expect to see Keith open his door at the same time she opened hers so as soon as she saw him, she jumped back into her apartment and quickly shut her door. After realizing how foolish and childish her action right now was, she opened the door.

Keith was just dazed and he smiled, “You don’t want me to see your sleepy eyes huh! By the way, you have an amazing wake-up face”. He said lovingly as he walked to her.

Kelsey buried her face in her hand shyly and both of them laughed over it at the same time while she gave him a nudge on his side. This made Keith burst into laughter and he then held her hand to take her to wash her face.

“I washed my face already; C’mon let me take you to wash yours too,” he said

He gently dragged her to the bathroom in his master bedroom. When he opened the door of his bedroom, Kelsey secretly marveled at the way it looked like a palace bedroom. Keith took her into his sparkling clean bathroom and offered to wash her face for her.

Everything happened suddenly so Kelsey could not even refuse him. After washing her face with water, he picked up a clean face towel from the rack and dabbed her face lightly. Her heart melted at his kind gesture. He stayed at her back as he did this while both of them looked in the mirror in front of them. He then winked at her handsomely when their faces met in the mirror view. This wink killed Kelsey as her heart began to race to make her blood flow faster and her face of course became red.

Keith noticed this redness and he liked what he saw as he knew that she is now getting relaxed with him.

 “Thank you,” she said as she turned around to leave but was stuck right in front of the boss since he was standing right behind her.

“Is that how to say thank you to your housemate?” he joked

Now Kelsey had to look up at his face and smiled, she then gave him a bear hug and teasingly said “thank you housemate”

Both of them burst into laughter.

“Can I hug you back?” He asked while her hand was still around his waist.

“Nope Nope”. She said as she pulled out her hands but Keith was fast enough to hold her back and he gave her a super bear hug.

Both of them giggled at their naughtiness and walked out of the bedroom hand-in-hand just laughing out loud. It was as if that experience shouldn’t end.

As soon as they got out to the walkway, the aroma of a sumptuous delicacy wafted from the kitchen and her stomach gurgled.

“I’m so hungry”. She uttered forgetting that she had been posing to be prim and proper in front of Keith and didn’t want him to know how much she liked good food.

“Same here. Let’s go and dig in. Uncle Mark arranged a special meal for you”

“Awwww, that’s so kind of him. I’ll give him a tight hug too to say thank you”

He curled his lip and ordered “Change of Plan, I’ll take you to eat out then”

“Ha-ha, someone’s been stingy here and doesn’t want his P.A to share hugs with another housemate”

“Lookatchu”, he said as they both chuckled and sat at the table.

It’s now obvious that both of them are getting fond of each other and are more relaxed in each other’s company and this is just Day 1 together in the same house.
