Trapped in the 'Lion's Den'

As Kelsey took a sip of coffee from her cup, the door suddenly flung open.

“Ah” she gasped.

“Ohh I’m so sorry, please pardon my manners. I actually didn’t know that you were inside already. Keith said all in one breath as he let out a sincere smile with a surprised look.

“That’s okay, good morning Sir” she quickly said as she stood up.

“Oh please take your seat, good to see you”.…. “Is this room not too warm for you, should I increase the air conditioner?”

“No, thank you, Sir, I’m okay with the way it is”

“Alright then,” he said...

He then pulled out the chair that was beside her and sat closely opposite.

“It’s great to have you here Kelsey. Please make yourself comfortable while you begin to live in here”. You are very free to use anything in this house and I’ve made an extra table for you here in the study room and you can walk in anytime you need to do some work”

While he was speaking, she sized him up from top to bottom and admired how highly endowed her boss is on all sides; his perfect hairstyle, spotless skin, scent, gorgeous look, sexy body, fashion style, and wondered how only one person could have everything working for him including the extraordinary level of wealth and influence that he commands. “Oh My Gosh, he’s all shades of perfection”, she exclaimed to herself.  The two times she had met him before now, she saw that he was a very appealing man but she dared not think about it then.

Before she could continue in her imagination, she was brought back to reality when Keith asked that they go downstairs to have breakfast and she realized that she missed out on all he had said after her thoughts suddenly drifted off.

“Ok”, she agreed to go for breakfast and got up.

Keith allowed her to walk in front of him and then he opened the door of the study room for her. He squinted and stole a look to get a closer view of her rear and then he smirked mischievously to himself. “D*mn it! This girl’s got them loaded. Guess, she’ll kill me if she knows I’m checking her out”.

He quickly walked up to her side and they marched down the staircase together.

A table with really sumptuous-looking varieties had been set for their breakfast and Kelsey’s stomach growled at the sight and aroma of these foods.

She had never had this kind of breakfast before so she was very modest with what she ate as she didn’t want to appear like a glutton even though she was a foodie. She just had to respect herself at least since she was new in the house.

Keith noticed that she purposely did not want to eat a lot so he picked different types of food for himself and gave her to try them too. Of course, Kelsey devoured them gracefully and was almost going to lose control but she still had to comport herself.

“I’ll be going to the movies later this evening, would you like to come along”. Keith asked.

Kelsey was shocked at his request as she never expected that her new boss would have time for such a frivolous activity, at least for a busy man of his caliber.

She agreed cos she’s a movie freak. Moreover, it’s a national holiday and the town will be so fun and bustling today.

After their meal, she cleared the table but the house-keeper quickly tried to stop her but she insisted that she was going to do it at least been her first time in the mansion. Keith joined her in clearing and moving everything to the kitchen while admiring her from head to toe. Of course, he secretly blew a silent kiss and winked as he stole a look at his favorite golden spot. Kelsey didn’t notice all his moves as Keith was discreet about it.

After clearing up, they both relaxed on different sofa and turned on the TV to catch up on the latest news but Keith soon dozed off. He hardly gets enough rest as he’s always up and doing. He sleeps very late and wakes up early and this has been his routine for years. During past holidays, he’s always in the study room working but today is different as he intends to rest for the first time and moreover, he’s having a lady in his house for the first time as well so he has to ensure she’s comfortable.

Kelsey looked at the way he slept peacefully and her thoughts were running wild. She stole a look at his face that looks like a beautiful painting then brought out her phone and took a picture of him as she was fond of taking candid photos just for the fun of it.

She thereafter tapped him gently and spoke in a soft voice “Mr. Jefferson”

Keith wanted to respond and get up immediately but realized it was her so he feigned sleep and enjoyed her warm touch and also her charming vanilla scent. He wished he could grab her and eat her raw but he dared not.

“Mr. Jefferson”, she rubbed his shoulder lightly

“Ah, I dozed off so quickly? Are you ok?” he asked as he opened his eyes.

“Why not go and catch some nap in your bedroom,” she asked

“Oh mhmm, I just want to keep you company here”, replied the boss in a sleepy voice like a baby.

Kelsey smiled. “But you’re tired and I even want to go to my apartment to have a nap as well so I’d suggest you go to your bedroom to sleep too”

“Okay then, thanks”. He got up and stretched his hands but mistakenly gave her a light shove that she nearly fell. He quickly grabbed her and apologized.

In a split second, he enfolded her in his arm with her face closely directly opposite his. She became red at once and both their heartbeats increased. The chemistry between them at that brief time was unexplainable.

“Hope I didn’t injure you”. He asked with a sincerely concerned look on his face

“No, not at all” she blushed.

He then released her from his lion’s den and they walked upstairs together but now, he didn’t have the opportunity to steal a look at his favorite spot because they were walking side by side.

Kelsey then wondered why he was climbing up with her and was shocked to realize his bedroom was directly opposite her apartment.

“Try to rest well okay; we’ll go out anytime you want”. He said as he opened his bedroom door.

‘Alright, thanks Sir, you need the rest more, please take your time”
