Carolyn’s image faded before Eden when Annabelle had finally left. He was left weak and powerless, breathing heavily in the bath, having a hard time getting over what just happened or even moving a limb.

The door slammed open, and Hosea rushed in with frenzy having seen Annabelle outside earlier.

“Hey, are you fine?”

Eden was no longer himself, and Hosea managed to bring him out despite his weight and had him rushed to the pack hospital.
