MasukCAROLYN
“Stop there," A short brunette blocked my path. "You can't come in dressed like that.." I frowned. “What's wrong with what I'm wearing?" She pulled two scraps of what seems to be lingeries “Change into this.” I took it with confusion. "Why should I..." "You want to survive here?” She raised the corner of her lips, "Dress like a predator, not a prayer book" I shrugged and moved to the adjacent room. A minute later, I was changed from the covered-up blouse and long skirt to the white lingerie that packed my breasts tightly and revealed my not-too-curvy shape. I stared at my reflection. The white lace barely covered anything — my breast pushed up, my curves on full display, and my ass practically bare. I'd spent years hiding under conservative clothes, trying to be the best wife. I'd even brought Mrs Santa lingerie to surprise Flynn tonight, but he'd rather see it on Moana. My jaw tightened. Well, fuck his preference. I didn't just feel beautiful. I felt dangerous and reckless. Like I had nothing to lose. "Screw you, Flynn." Then I stepped out. The burentte was astounded. “Oh my goodness. You look so stunning, pretty human. Now step inside and enjoy your Christmas." I smiled with pleasure. "Are you sure I can....” I chuckled nervously. “Go for it, my girl… You’re so hot.” Then she howled to cheer me up. I walked into the dance floor without anything but myself, while my phone and other things had been kept with that brunette. Flynn wanted an open marriage, and I’ll give it to him, just like he did. Just for tonight.... ~~> I knew I'd made a mistake the moment I stepped onto the dance floor. A werewolf girl shoved past me, her shoulder slamming into mine hard enough to make me stumble. "Watch it, Blood bag. Here's not your turf." Another girl laughed. "Saps can be really clumsy. Just a bag of blood and foolishness" The bartender served my beer like I was dirt under his shoe. Men looked at me with lust like I was a prey, not an actual person. Everything felt weird and out of place for me. Perhaps this was a bad idea. I sadly sat across a table of some baddies smoking, to finish my cup and return to the lively woman outside. But those girls at the table are pointing in my direction and smiling. Confused by the sudden change in the people hating on me earlier because I was human, I decided not to mind them. The stares didn’t stop, and more girls joined them. I couldn’t help it now than to also look and see who. Damnit, how long have they been there? Three men sat at the table behind me, or should I even say men? 'Demi gods!' My mind was quick to wander somewhere dangerous and dirty— imagining what those hands would feel like, what those mouths would do. Jesus! "What are you thinking, Caro!!" My mind screamed, and I looked away instantly. I'd just been kicked out. Now I was already fantasizing about some strangers. The first had pink hair and was glued to the phone, fingers flying across the screen like he was in the middle of a typing competition. The second one really piqued my interest. It's really scarce to see someone with dreadlocks these days, and those Amber eyes were like scanners — predatorily focused on the girls. The third was quieter. When our eyes met, he raised his hand in a casual wave, and I saw those blue eyes that made my heart snap with lust. They're beautiful, dangerously seductive, and anything to classify as Lust. “The quiet one is the owner of this place,” I heard the familiar voice of the burnette beside me, and I looked away from them. “Hey. Why are you here?” I asked in surprise. She pulled a seat and ordered a cup of tequila. “What would a human, as you know? My shift is over. No one else comes in once the Alphas arrive, and...security's tight when they're here," She grabbed her tequila and took a sip. "Besides, you look like you could use some company." I beamed happily. Finally, someone to talk to. We made a toast, then she drank along with me, while explaining the meaning of ‘Alpha’ and why they rule the place. When she was done, I looked back at the three supposed ‘kings’ of the shapeshifters. They were staring at me, the first one with pink hair had dropped his phone and whispered something to the quiet one, and I saw him smile, without looking away from me. I faced front sharply, while feeling excited... “Damnit! Why are they looking at me?” “They must be surprised because humans haven’t been here in a while.” Urgh! Talk about humans again! She got up after checking her phone. “I need to get going. My son is back from school prom.” “Oh….Hey,” I pulled her hand before she left. “What's your name, and why are you nice to me?” She yanked her hand off with a generous smile. “I'm Janet. And I'm nice because my ex-husband was a human, and so my little son was half-human too."Her eyes softened. "It's not easy to be different. I know the feeling." “Nice to meet you, Janet. See you again.” "Nice to meet you, too….Oh, what’s your name?” We both exchanged a hug. “I’m Carolyn.” Janet left when her phone blinked again, and now I was left alone, still thinking of how to get any of the gorgeous werewolf 'kings' to hit on me tonight. But they hate humans. I doubt if they would ever talk to me. “Excuse me?” I blinked rapidly to push back my doubts. Then looked sideways to see a waiter beside me. “Yes?” “Emm…..The Alphas demand your presence at their table.” “Alphas?” My heart seized, and I turned to look at them, observing me with those blue eyes that could freeze the ocean. Janet said they were the kings of the shapeshifters, which means they should hate me. Why are they asking me to come to them? But I shook my head. NO. The highest length they would go is to tell me to leave. I forced another quick smile at the waiter. “Um…are they the ones?”, I asked, gesturing at them behind me even though I knew it was them. “Yes” I stood up, legs shaky, and crossed the distance to their table. Every eye is following me, and I'm sure I'd be in the sixteenth layer of hell right now if looks could kill. But I composed myself when I got to the table. “H...hello…” “Hey, beautiful Human. Have a seat,” The one in pink offered with an inviting smile. I looked all around me again. They were the only ones smiling. Everyone else looked as if they could eat me up. Pink hair pulled the chair for me, and I nervously sat down. “Carolyn," The dreadlocked one called out loud. His eyes were scanning my body hungrily or dangerously. I guess they might have heard it when Janet and I were talking, so I didn't bother to ask how he knew my name. “You must be new around here?” The quiet one started, “No human dares to come in here.” ‘Oh…” I scratched my palm. “I stopped for a drink…if you don’t mind me asking, why did you….?” “Oh, I’m Eden.” Dreadlock introduced himself, cutting into my words. “These are my brothers. Meshack and “Hosea” I nodded and bowed curtly. “I’m Carolyn.” Meshack, the one with pink hair, reached for my hand. “You look stunning, Carolyn." his thumb brushed across my knuckles. "Do you have plans for tonight?" I blinked in confusion. “Plans, like…how?” Eden leaned forward, amber eyes glowing under the dim light, "You came here dressed like that on a Christmas night." His gaze dragged slowly down my body, "You're either very brave or very desperate. Honey?" "Maybe both?" I admitted. "You know... Detty December vibe." Hosea's lips curved into a slow smile. "You don't smell human." He leaned over and sniffed the air around me addictively. "There's something else I couldn't see, but very rare." I froze. "What do you mean, I don't smell like regular humans?" His brothers laughed. But Meshack cut in before Hosea could answer, waving his hand. "Don't exaggerate. Caro, we're about to make you an offer. Interested?" My heart slammed. "What kind of offer? "Will you fuck the three of us for 5 Million?”THIRD PERSON POV Carolyn shook her head, dead serious about what her instincts told her. "Who really are you?" She stepped out of Meshack's frame to face Satoshi, "and why did you smell so familiar" Meshack tried to discourage her, "There's no way you know Toshi. He's Japanese and..." Satoshi felt cornered, and he tried to hide the bag behind him, but he couldn't. "Shit!!" He screeched, then raised his hands like he was surrendering. "She was right, I was... Was looking at you..." Meshack didn't want to hear more as he heard she was right. He lunged at Toshi. "Get to the fuckin point!" Satoshi was flustered, which revealed that he was up to something, and when Meshack and Carolyn wouldn't stop asking him, he gave himself away. "I... I came shopping with someone..." "You came shopping, you were stalking them?" Janet's familiar voice came behind Satoshi. Carolyn lit up immediately when she saw Jane,t and the two hugged immediately. Janet explained how she had brought Satoshi
CAROYLYNI could tell that I was at the manor, because the distinct smell of the alphas was thick. My belly hurts so much but I tried my best to fling it open, but closed it again due to the light illumination."She's awake,” I heard Meshack’s voice, before his hand touched me. “Get the doctor!”I opened my eyes again after this. The three of them were above my head. Before I could remember what had happened to me or why I was feeling so down, I recalled when I received the message and call that Eden and Meshack were hurt.“A..Are you okay?’ I asked Eden, "Aren't you in an accident?”He blinked and broke eye contact with me like he was embarrassed to look at me.“Why…” I wanted to ask, reaching out. “Janet called me that you were…”“Thank you for being safe for us, Caro” Hosea grabbed my jaw so I could face him instead. “I was worried you wouldn't wake up again”I was confused in general, why are they looking at me sadly? I tried to remember how I got here but I couldn't pinpoint how.
CAROLYN I ran like my life depended on it, not waiting to answer Moana as Luther's questions.I couldn't see the bus, and there was no cab at that point of time. Sitting on the bench at the subway station, I texted Janet back. “What's the situation now, where is he?” She didn't reply for more than five minutes and I was having another idea of going back to ask for Luther's help in going to Dynera pack when a car sped before me and stopped. “Get inside!” Janet, who was driving the car, called. I didn't hesitate, I hopped in and she turned to another direction that wasn't Dynera pack.I frowned. “What happened?” “We're going to Griselda — Hosea's outhouse. You'd be there until January 25th” Her eyes were sharp, but was carrying something else I couldn't pinpoint. Why would they want me to stay at Hosea's outhouse and not the manor?“Meshack and Eden were in an accident, right? Why would you….” She slammed the brake before I could stop talking, causing the car to roar into abrup
CAROLYN Tears rushed from my face quickly, as the realization of everything drowned on me.Going to Fearless bar at Jericho wasn't a coincidence… Annabelle had seen me before I arrived. Could she have a hand in what happened to the Alphas and the reason for their sudden sacrifice? My phone beeped and I stopped for a second to check it. It was a message from Janet. “Urgent, Caro! Meshach just fainted, his heart is failing!” My heart spiked. Meshach fell sick? An instinct to rush over to him pushed me but I stopped. Why should I go back to Alphas who only wanted me dead in the first place. I loved them wholeheartedly and thought they'd be different from my human ex. “No” I said to myself, sniffing and moving towards the house. “They're no longer part of my life now and I don't care!” ‘But you care’ a voice said in my head, more like my thoughts. ‘They're part of you can never escape it’“No!” I denied aloud, walking towards the house. “No more werewolves!” Now that I'd wiped my t
CAROLYN“How can I help you Annabelle? I should place my hand on the wound or…?” The room was dead silent, all eyes on me like I had suddenly gone mad. But I wasn't mad. Why should I be when what they just said isn't new to me.Hosea rushed to me. “Caro, we…” “Alpha Hosea please,” I snapped at him. “Let me help who's in need” Even though they were still shocked, I moved over to Annabelle and tried not to get disgusted by the huge wound. She didn't waste her time, she quickly faced her father. Beta Silas pulled out a wooden carved blade and gave it to me. “That's ancient shit. Your divine blood on it could reverse dark magic” I looked at the father and daughter as I took the knife. Could they be trusted? Annabelle nodded as if she could hear my thoughts. “Just your blood. I promise nothing will happen to you” I hate myself for offering to help her, but I felt I had to do this.Something pushed me to do it rather, something dangerous, kind and deadly. I didn't remember how I k
CAROLYN'S POV ONE WEEK LATERI was overwhelmed with the amount of care I was receiving, since the day I opened my eyes to see the light of the day. Janet and her son never left my side, the Alpha brothers are the worst, — they placed me between them every night, never letting me experience cold or loneliness. But something felt off…I had a feeling there was something I was forgetting… something I should do, something I must do…but I had no idea what it was. Even when I was left alone, I felt I wasn't alone. Like there's someone behind me, watching and waiting for me to do something I haven't figured out.“January 10th!” Eden panicked aloud pacing like a caged lion. “Today is January 10th, brothers” Hosea looked up from his laptop, then at me, and forced a smile. “Did you have a date today? Why are you minding the time?”They looked at each other again and I couldn't help but feel something was terribly wrong still.Meshack emerged from the bathroom, wiping his temple. He stopped
