Faith could not sleep, her mind was on how Sarah was treated in the station.

She arrived at the company at 7am. Her lawyer already arranged everything about Sarah.

Faith picked up the file, she looked at Sarah sitting, no one was there she smiled.

She opened the first file - Sarah Mensah, twenty six years old, schooled at one of the top colleges in California, before relocating to the city.

Page two includes how she worked - after looking for work for several people, they always decline even with how good her grades are.

If a rich man buys her spot or they insult for being too poor, but even with that she still focuses on her education..

Then when she found a job at the night club,to serve customers, she had no other choice than to do it,or they wouldn't survive in the city.

Then how Marcus approached her on one faithful night, he did not approach her randomly it was deliberate.

He had been watching her for weeks, how hard she had been working, how her boss scolded her ,how she was desperate for money.

Faith read it carefully.

He then found out about her parents, knew about the debt and all about Sarah

He knows that if he meets someone who is in need ,and it's under pressure she would comply..

Then he offered her a job.

Sarah thought God had finally answered her prayers, so she accepted.

Not knowing it was a trap

After work for like a week he began to use her parents' life to threaten her.

Then a knock came in and interrupted faith.

“Ma'am this is a report from the station, Sarah want you to go through it by yourself"

Faith nodded “drop it"

Faith dropped the one she was holding and opened the report file.

“Miss sartini, I'm sorry but take you time to read this, Marcus only told me what I would be working for you as an assistant, and that was a good opportunity for me ,I couldn't let it slide so I grabbed it because I needed money and that's the reason I did not ask too much question and I accepted it"

“For the first and second week it was normal, I worked I enjoyed everything, that my parents could finally get a better treatment"

It didn't end there.

“One evening he called me out,he told me everything about you, everything you have done to him,how he wants to destroy you and all, he asked me if I can do it?”

“And I said no”

Faith stopped reading.

She looked at that line that Sarah said no.

“She actually refused," Faith thought.

She continued.

“The next morning, my parents treatment was cut without explanation, The hospital called me and I call Marcus, that was how it started using my parents to force me"

“I had not either choice"

“Everyday I came to work, you are nice to me, you never shouted at me ,you never threatened me, you treated me like a sister, even when I thought I would lose me job but none of that happened, you smiled at me every morning"

“And everyday I went home I hate my self for doing what I was doing"

Faith set down the report.

She looked at the ceiling, fresh tears rolled down her eyes.

“If you check inside you will see a USB drive, if you think I'm lying before all of this happen I know one day, Marcus will denial me so I always keep evidence of everything"

“Check it, miss sartini I'm really sorry I know I don't deserve you forgiveness but I was doing this because of my parents they are the only one I have left in this world and I don't want anything to happen to them that's why"

“Please find a place in your heart and forgive me, and thanks for taking care of my parents,at least my mind is at rest even if I die I won't be sad because my parents are leaving well"

Faith played the video. She saw everything, how Sarah's hands were trembling under the table, the fear in her eyes…

She picked up her phone.

Called her lawyer.

" The charge against Sarah Mensah"

" Yes miss sartini, what about it?”

" Drop them”

Silence.

" All of them?”

" Yes,”

"But miss sartini the cooperate espionage charge alone carries-”

“ I know, just drop them,” Faith said simply.

" What about Marcus?”

" Leave him for now, let him be”

" What if he runs away?”

" He can't I get my eyes on him”

" Okay miss”

Faith hung up.

She looked at the ceiling, she could understand how Sarah was going through, how pitiful of her.

Her phone buzzed.

“She is released now"

Faith whipped the tears on her cheeks.

Her phone rang after ten minutes,it was Warren's call.

She picked.

“You dropped the charge"

" Yes”

" Faith–"

“She was forced warren"

" I know she was forced, but what about the board”

" I don't care about them now”

Silence.

" She said no,” faith said quietly " she said no when Marcus approached her, then he cut off her parents treatment”

Warren said nothing.

" She had nobody” faith continued" no family no friends,no relatives no other choice and Marcus knew about it”

" Faith”

" What”

" Do you actually know what you are doing right now?”

" I know what I'm doing warren”

" Hope you know you are protecting someone who hurt you?”

Faith stood up ,she walked to the window.

“She didn't hurt me warren"

“Then what did she do because if you let her go ,what she will do will be more than this one"

“No Warren,Sarah is not like that, it was Marcus who used her, she did not do it on her own will"

“And so?"

“Sarah is innocent, so don't think of her that way, because that's not who she is"

“Don't cry then"

Faith did not say a word.

She hung up.

She walked back to the table, she looked at Sarah's file, the USB drive everything, she imagined how Sarah's life would be ,how much she had suffered outside to keep her parents healthy, faith was once like her.

She picked up a pen then wrote on a piece of paper.

" Not every enemy is one , some of them had no choice” dropped the pen .

She looked at where Sarah was sitting.. her smile faded.

" Your turn uncle” she said to nobody.
