Zoey jabbed her fingers nervously, her heart beat intensifying everytime the bell of the coffee shop dinged open, hoping it was him, but when she saw the person that walked in, disappoinment couldn't help but rack her chest.

She sighed, slumping back on the chair. This was not going well.

What if he didn't come? What if he hates her and would never even talk to her? Her heartbeat fastened. God, please, just one last time. She kept her hopes high for the last time.

If he wasn't going to come, then she would just leave with the message that Dexter officially hates her.
