Uncle Aric

Chapter Four.

Caelia.

If I had a choice, I would choose not to wake up from the sweet dream I had after one of the most beautiful nights of my life.

I had more of him in my dreams, and I didn’t want it to stop just as I dreamed. I wanted to make it happen; I wanted to have this hot and irresistible stranger I had just met again.

I rolled to the other side of the bed, hoping to be stopped by his broad shoulders and muscular body, but I rather landed hard on the cold white-tiled floor.

I looked around as I groaned in pain and cleaned my naked body, pondering about where he could have gone so early in the morning. As I continued to gaze around, my eyes caught the clock, and a loud gasp escaped my lips when I saw the time; it was past ten.

I jumped up from the floor and searched for my clothes, only to find them perfectly dry cleaned on the hanger. I rushed to it, grabbed them, and slipped into them. I knew even though I got home right that minute, I still wouldn’t be able to escape my mom’s wrath. I knew I had a lot of explanation to do when I eventually got home: why I didn’t come home, where I slept, and what I did. Even though I was an adult and people of my age were free to do whatever they want, it was different for me; my mom wouldn’t let me, she had instilled that fear in me ever since I was young, I wouldn’t dare to go against her words.

I picked up my bag and stormed out of the room; each maid I met on my way to the main door stopped and bowed to me, taking me back to last night, and how he made me feel like I was the woman of the house.

I got to the door, and one of the maids ran to me. “Good morning, ma’am. Master said I should give this to you.” She stated and handed two envelopes over to me.

I took them from her, flashed a smile at her, and dashed out of the house, stumbling back to the street and flagging a cab to take me home.

It took me minutes to settle down after getting into the cab, even though my mind was still racing in anticipation for what I would face with my mom when I got home, I couldn’t push back the after-feel of my wonderful night with that stranger.

The soft and rhythmic clasps of our bodies against each other, the low groans and chorused moans, the sound of his kisses on my body, the tickling sensations that sent shivers down my body, the unusual warmth and safety I felt in his hands, I could still remember all of these, and it only made me want to have that night again. Even though I was aware that it was just a one-night stand, and it was supposed to end there, I didn’t want it to be so, I wanted to relive that night again.

He didn’t bother to ask for my name and gave me a new name instead; how he moaned that name and made it sound like the most beautiful name ever, I would never forget that.

I looked down at the envelopes and readjusted myself on the seat before tearing one open. I pulled out what was inside; it was a handwritten letter, my heart fluttered with excitement. He wrote a letter to me?

I readjusted myself on the seat again, taking a deep breath before I began to read the letter out loud, but just enough for my hearing.

“Hey, sunshine!”

I stopped and erupted into cheers of excitement, my heart pounding with elation. ‘Sunshine’; that sounded like the best name I had ever been called. I cleared my throat and continued to read.

“I must confess that you not just have the most beautiful facial features I had ever seen, but one of the sexiest bodies. You are so sexy, sunshine, and I would love to have this sexiness of yours again.

You look so cute and pretty when your eyelids continue to blink and your pupils are no longer seen, your moans are like music to my ears, and I don’t want to stay too far away from my best artist.

You’ll find a small tip in the second envelope which would take you back home; I would have loved to do that, but I have somewhere to be this morning. I will definitely keep in touch because it’s impossible not to want last night again.

See you soon, sunshine.”

I let out a low cheer of excitement as I pumped my hand in the air; I just couldn’t hold back how thrilled I was to know that I wasn’t just the one who wants to relive last night again, he also does.

I couldn’t wait for him to reach out and have us recreate the night; it was the perfect therapy for my recent heartbreak, the best way to get Ethan off my head. I didn’t think about Ethan the whole time I was with him.

“We have arrived at your destination, ma’am.” The driver announced.

“Oh!” I murmured, put the envelopes in my bag, and got down from the cab; I paid the driver and headed into our compound, my heart racing with what I would tell my moms until my mind swayed from those thoughts for minutes after my eyes caught one of the most expensive-looking cars I had ever seen.

What was a McLaren Speedtail doing in front of our house? I shook my head several times as I walked towards the car; was this even real? When I got to it, I was forced to touch it, to be sure that I wasn’t dreaming. The only time I had seen a car this expensive was when I got to that man’s house the night before; I knew he had a fleet of cars this expensive, but what was one doing in our house?

Was my mom dating a billionaire?

I rushed to the door in excitement to know who the owner of this car was; I punched the doorbell button and began to shake my legs as I awaited response. I punched it again, and the door finally came open, with my mom standing there, grinning from ear to ear at me; my heart almost stopped beating.

Instead of the usual lashing out and venting her long-kept anger at me, she was smiling? I was right, something was definitely wrong, something good maybe; was I really right that my mom was dating a billionaire? Unbelievable.

She grabbed my hand and pulled me into the house; she spanked me on the back playfully. “Where have you been, Cae? I told you your uncle was visiting today; he has been here since morning, and we’ve been both waiting for you.”

“My uncle?” I was a bit lost until it popped up in my head. “Do you mean Uncle Aric? Dad’s billionaire brother that has been away for years?” My eyes bulged out.

“Yes!” My mom chuckled, shaking my hand. “He is back, and he can’t wait to see you; you used to be his little princess, his most cherished niece.” She blushed.

Was she the most cherished niece, or me? I didn’t understand why my mom was blushing over that.

“And where is he?” I asked.

She pointed to the back side of a man sitting elegantly on our old three-seater sofa. “There he is. Make sure you thank him for everything he has done for us, from paying for your tuition, the allowance, and…”

“Yes, yes, I understand.” I cut in and smiled at her.

“Right.” She stated, tapped my shoulders, and walked away. “Aric, she is here, Caelia is here.” My mom announced.

My mom has never been so excited about anything since I had known her, or since dad’s demise, especially not things that had to do with me; she was always the most uninterested. It baffles me now that she was so excited to be introducing me to my uncle.

I shrugged; at least I was saved from her wrath for the day. I readjusted my bag on my shoulder and dragged my legs closer to them.

I watched as he stood up, moved closer to my mom, and asked. “Caelia is here?” The voice sounded so familiar, like I had heard him speak before, but I wasn’t really sure.

I got to them and forced a smile on my face. “Hi, Uncle Aric, good morning.” I murmured. “It’s been…” the rest of my words were sent back down my throat by the shock when he turned to me.

I stiffened; I felt a sudden paralysis of my entire limbs, a surge of fear and uncertainty pulsed through my body, leaving me breathless and shaky. Was I seeing right? Or was it my imagination? I shook my head, punched myself several times, just to be sure that I wasn’t dreaming, and I wasn’t; it was the reality. I got more proof when he moved closer to me with that heavenly smile that was able to break every force binding me down and stretched out his hand for a shake.

“Hello, Caelia, how have you been?”

It was as though I was under some sort of spell; I flung my hand forward and shook him, forgetting the fact that I was in a total mess, the biggest mess I had ever been in my entire life.

The stranger I met last night was my uncle; the man I had a one-night stand with was my dad’s billionaire brother. The man who made me feel things I had never felt before and left me wanting more was my dear uncle, Aric Phoenixbourne; I couldn’t believe it.

That hot, handsome, sexy, and irresistible stranger that I had the best night of my life and shared some wonderful moments with was my uncle, and now he was acting like we’ve never met before. I was breathless, as though I was running out of breath; what do I do?
