Abeni was asleep in her room, when there was a knock on her door. She opened her eyes, feeling a bit disoriented. The events of last night were still fresh in her mind, but she tried to push them aside. She told whoever was outside to come in, expecting one of Dmitry's men, but it was one of the staff members who entered her room.
"Good morning, Miss Abeni. Breakfast is served. I've prepared it in your dining room."
The staff member bowed slightly and gestured for her to follow. As they walked down the hall, Abeni couldn't help but notice that everyone seemed to be moving around with extra care, almost as if they were trying not to wake someone up. That's when she realized that Dmitry was still asleep. When they reached the dining room, Abeni was surprised to find that there was no one else there. The staff member placed her plate on the empty seat.
"Mr. Kuznetsov's sleeping, so he won't be able to join you for breakfast." She said softly.

The next day, Abeni was in her room. She got dressed, putting on a short summer dress, her favorite sandals, and some light jewelry. She looked at herself in the mirror, feeling a bit nervous about asking Dmitry for permission. She took a deep breath and walked out of her room, making her way to the living room where she knew she would find him. As she approached, she could feel her heart racing and her palms sweating. She cleared her throat before speaking, "Dmitry, I was wondering if I could go shopping with my friends today. We're going to go bridemaid and wedding dress shopping for Camillie's wedding on Sunday." She said, her voice soft and slightly nervous. Dmitry looked up from his newspaper, his piercing eyes meeting hers. He took in her appearance, the short summer dress hugging her curves, the sandals peeking out from beneath it, and the delicate jewelry adorning her neck and wrists. He set the newspaper down on the coffee table a
Camillie chose her wedding dress and the bridesmaids dress. After they paid for the dresses, they decided to go to a nearby restaurant to celebrate. As they were waiting for their food, Abeni's phone buzzed with a message from Dmitry. She glanced at it quickly, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. Her friends noticed her smile and began to question her about it. "Hey, what's got you so smiley over there?" Elena asked, nudging Abeni playfully. "Come on, spill the beans!" Abeni tried to play it cool, but she could tell that her friends were not going to let it go. "Well...," she started, hesitating. "It's nothing really. Just... I got a nice message from Dmirty." The girls exchanged knowing looks. "What?" Abeni demanded, feeling a blush creeping up her cheeks. "Isn't he your boss? Aren't you his assistant?" asked Camillie, trying to tease her. "Nothing going on there, is there?" Naledi rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, you two. Spill it." She reached
Abeni woke up cuddling Dmitry. She let out a soft sigh, remembering their passionate night together. Her body ached for him, but she knew it was time to get up. She gently disentangled herself from his strong arms and stretched lazily, feeling the warmth of his skin against hers. She smiled as she looked at Dmitry’s sleeping form, his chest rising and falling with each breath. His features were chiseled to perfection, his black hair tousled from their lovemaking. He was an enigma, a man who commanded respect and fear, yet he could be so tender and loving to her. “Good morning love” he whispered, his voice thick with sleep as he opened his eyes and gazed up at her. “I trust you slept well?” Abeni couldn’t help but feel a shiver of delight run down her spine at the sound of his deep, accented voice. “I did, thank you.” She smiled, running her fingers through his hair. “I have something to ask you, if you don’t mind.” Dmitry lifted himself up onto his elbow, wat
Dmitry stared at Victor and Natalia, who were standing in front of him. Abeni could sense the tension in the room as she held Dmitry's arm tightly. Olga sat in the armchair watching silently. "Victor... You do realize that you are in love with my sister, don't you?" Dmitry asked, his voice cold and cutting through the air. Victor swallowed hard, unable to meet Dmitry's intense gaze. "Yes, I-I love her, Boss," he stammered. "How much do you love her, Victor?" Dmitry's question was like a blade pressing against his skin. Victor hesitated, his heart racing. "I-I'd do anything for her, Boss. I'd protect her with my life." "Wy do you love her?" asked Dmitry, his voice low and menacing. Victor glanced at Natalia, her beautiful face filled with tears. He took a deep breath before answering. "Boss, she's kind, she's smart, and she's the most beautiful woman I've ever met. She makes me feel like I can be a better man, like I can be stronger for her. I
Dmitry took Abeni's hand in his, squeezing gently. “I understand how you feel, and I won’t push you into anything you’re not ready for. But please know that I will be here for you, no matter what you decide. My life may be complicated, but I will make sure you are safe and protected. I want to give you the world, Abeni. All I ask is for the chance to do that.” His gaze bored into hers, searching for any hint of reassurance. The way he looked at her made her heart ache. She wanted to believe him, to trust him with her feelings. But the thought of being involved with someone so dangerous terrified her. What if something happened to her? She couldn’t bear the thought of losing him. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart. “Dmitry,” she began, her voice barely above a whisper, “I want to be with you. I really do. But I need some time to think about it, to make sure that I’m ready for this. I know my life is going to be surrounded by danger because of wh
The next day, Abeni was in her room packing, her thoughts still occupied with the events of the previous evening. She couldn't help but wonder if Dmitry's feelings for her were genuine or if he had simply been playing her. She finished packing her bag and walked downstairs to find Olga and Natalia, who were both eager to offer their support and well-wishes for the upcoming Abeni's friend's wedding. "Abeni, you look lovely," Olga exclaimed, giving her a hug. "And don't worry, we'll take good care of Dmitry while you're gone." Abeni smiled weakly and hugged them both, promising to see them in two days."Where is he?" she asked, glancing around the entryway. "In his office, dear," Natalia replied. "He's been working late, going over some business proposals." With a deep breath, Abeni made her way to Dmitry's office, her heart racing. As she approached, she could hear the low murmur of his voice, deep and commanding. She paused in the doorway for a moment, tryin
Camillie and her father took to the dance floor. Abeni felt a knot forming in her stomach as she watched Dmitry from across the room. He was laughing and talking animatedly with another woman, and it was clear that there was more to their interaction than just friendly conversation. The woman was stunning, with long, curly hair and a figure that made Abeni feel self-conscious about her own curvy frame. As they danced together, Abeni couldn't help but wonder if Dmitry still found her beautiful or if he had already moved on. She tried to distract herself by enjoying the reception, but her mind kept wandering back to Dmitry and the mysterious woman. She took a sip of her champagne, hoping it would help calm her nerves and clear her head. As she scanned the room again, she caught Dmitry glancing in her direction. Their eyes met for a brief moment but her insecurity had consumed her, making her feel small and unworthy. The reception hall was filled with laughter and the c
Over the next few days, Abeni couldn't stop thinking about Dmitry. His voice, the way he looked at her, touched her, made her feel wanted and desired. Despite her better judgment, she found herself craving his presence more than ever. 3 days had passed since she left Dmitry, on the 4th day she decided to go and visit her sister Ada."I am so sorry for not being there for you, Ada. I should've been here. I should've been a better sister." Abeni sobbed as she embraced her sister tightly. "It's okay, Abeni. You've been through a lot yourself. And I know you've been busy. I'm just glad you're here now." Ada reassured her, her voice weak but steady. Abeni smiled through her tears and wiped her nose. "Me too. And I promise, I'll be here for you from now on. No matter what." As they talked, Abeni couldn't help but think about Dmitry again. She knew that he was a dangerous man, but something about him made her feel safe and protected. She wondered if it wa
