Alfred brought the car to a stop in front of the site. I immediately got out of the car, surveying the area.

It was large. Approximately 40 acres. Great choice for the resort. I had to admit, Alfred was right.

From where I was standing, I could see the mountains peeking from the distance, and I knew if we were up closer, it would be a more beautiful view.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" I heard Alfred ask behind me, I could feel his breath against my neck. That's how close he was.

I sucked in a breath as I moved away and turned to him.

"It is, maybe it was the perfect choice,"

He smiled, tucking his hands in his pocket as he accessed the vast plain land.
