Allison’s POV

My eyes were squeezed shut, as if that could somehow shield me from the overwhelming presence of the man in front of me.

He was intimidating beyond words, and I couldn’t do anything but obey.

His strong hands gripped my waist, pulling me closer. In that moment, it felt like my soul had left my body.

His fingers trailed down my thigh, sending shivers racing across my skin. I couldn’t believe this was happening.

How did I go from wanting a warm bath to standing naked in front of a stranger, letting him touch me like this?

Goosebumps prickled my flesh as his fingers moved upward, tracing the curve of my belly and then my chest.

A soft moan slipped from my lips when he pinched my nipple. My body betrayed me, trembling at his touch.

This was wrong. So, so wrong. It broke every rule of the hotel, every boundary I’d ever set for myself.

But how could I stop him? His touch was electric, lighting up parts of me I didn’t even know existed.

“Do you like it?” he asked, his deep, controlled voice pulling me from my swirling thoughts.

“Do you like what I’m doing to you, or should I stop?”

My lips trembled, words refusing to come out. All I could manage was a frantic shake of my head, not even sure what I was agreeing to.

“What was that?” he whispered, his lips so close to my skin that his breath fanned the fire burning inside me.

It was a heat I didn’t know I craved.

Before I could answer, he lifted me effortlessly, placing me on the bathroom counter.

My breaths came harsh and shallow, like I couldn’t get enough air.

His dark, unreadable eyes stayed locked on me, studying me as if I were some kind of puzzle he was determined to solve.

I knew I was playing with fire. Deep down, every instinct screamed that this man was dangerous and that I should run.

But I didn’t want to. I wanted to see how far the flames could go, what they might consume.

His hands found my breasts again, massaging them with a tenderness that clashed with the hardness in his gaze.

I bit my lip to stifle my moans as he played with my nipples, sending waves of pleasure crashing through me.

Then his warm mouth covered my nipple, sucking gently, making my body shake uncontrollably.

I was lost. Lost in the sensations. Lost in him. His other hand trailed between my legs, teasing dangerously close to my pussy.

But then reality snapped back, and I pulled away, my hands pressing against his chest to stop him.

“Please…” I whispered, my voice barely audible.

He paused, his eyes locking onto mine. “Are you still untouched?” His voice was low, almost predatory, and I felt my face burn with embarrassment.

“Yes,” I admitted, barely able to look at him. My heart pounded so hard I thought it might burst out of my chest.

For a moment, the room was deathly silent. I was terrified of his reaction, terrified that I might have pushed him too far.

But when I dared to glance at him, something flickered in his eyes, something I couldn’t quite read.

“If you’re a virgin, you really don’t know what you’ve gotten yourself into,” he said softly, though his tone remained commanding.

I swallowed hard, unsure how to respond. He exhaled slowly, his gaze growing darker as it roamed over my body.

Then he reached for me, pulling me closer to kiss my neck. His lips were warm, sending another wave of heat through me.

But a loud noise shattered the moment.

“Stop right there, Diego!” He barked, his eyes snapping toward the open bathroom door.

His voice was sharp and deadly.

“What the fuck are you doing? We’re late!” another male voice yelled, getting closer.

Panic shot through me. Someone was coming, and I was naked.

“Diego, stay back!” He commanded, but the footsteps continued.

In a heartbeat, he shifted, using his massive frame to shield me from view.

I barely had time to process what was happening before the intruder was at the door.

“Oh shit!” the other man shouted, skidding to a stop. I could hear him scrambling away, muttering curses under his breath as he bolted.

My heart raced, my body trembling, not just from fear. This stranger had protected me. He didn’t have to; he could’ve stepped aside.

But he didn’t. That small act ignited something deep within me, something that made me feel… wanted.

“That fucking idiot,” he growled, his face dark with anger.

His fury wasn’t directed at me, it was as if he was protecting me. His intensity was both frightening and exhilarating.

“Get dressed,” he ordered, turning away to give me privacy.

I quickly wrapped myself in a towel, gathered my clothes, and got dressed as fast as I could.

When I emerged, he was standing by the window, cigarette in hand.

Smoke curled lazily in the air as he stared out at the city. But when his gaze turned to me, it was piercing.

“What’s your name?” he asked, his voice softer now.

“Allison,” I answered, my voice barely above a whisper.

“Allison,” he repeated, my name sounding different on his lips.

The way he said it, slow and deliberate made me feel exposed all over again.

He looked me over one more time, his gaze lingering in a way that made me feel both self-conscious and strangely powerful.

“When do you finish work?” he asked casually, as if it wasn’t the most inappropriate question in the world.

“I’m on until tomorrow morning,” I said, my heart thudding in my chest.

He took another drag of his cigarette, exhaling slowly. “Get back to work. And do yourself a favor… don’t take baths in random strangers’ rooms again.”

“Yes, sir,” I muttered, my cheeks burning.

“Not ‘sir.’ Just Clyde.”

“Yes, Clyde.”

I managed a small smile before leaving the room, my heart still racing from everything that had just happened.

Once alone, I rushed to the nearest bathroom, splashing cold water on my face.

Staring at my reflection, I couldn’t help but giggle softly to myself. What just happened?

My hand instinctively brushed against my chest where his hands had been, and a flush of excitement coursed through me.

“Clyde…” I whispered his name, savoring the way it sounded.

For the first time in my life, I was attracted to a man, and not just any man.

A striking powerful and sexy godlike man!

Three days. That’s how long she’s been gone. Disappeared like smoke in the wind. No calls. No texts. No trace.Three excruciating days without Allison, and still, I can't find the words to describe the slow, brutal agony of surviving each one. My lungs feel like they’ve forgotten how to breathe. Sleep? Forget it. I haven’t closed my eyes since the night she vanished. She’s got me on the fucking edge, unraveling me piece by piece. And now I know, with brutal, painful clarity—I can’t function without her. Not as Clyde. Not as the Viper. Not as anything.Every search has led to a dead end. No leads. No footprints. No mercy.Even her mother was no help—her eyes swollen from crying, but her voice flat and clueless. When Diego questioned Clara, there was the faintest shift in her expression. Subtle, but telling. Something about the way her gaze dropped too quickly. The tightness in her throat when she said, “No.”"Are you really sure she didn’t say anything to you? Not even a hint?""No," C

  • Dangerous Love   The devil’s deal

Clyde’s POV The mart stank of blood, gasoline, and fear. A single overhead bulb flickered weakly, casting a yellowish hue over the bruised man kneeling at my feet. One of his eyes was swollen shut—a gift from Diego’s fists—and his cracked lips trembled with desperation.“Where is she?” I asked, my voice a low snarl that slithered through the room like venom. Cold. Controlled. Lethal. The old man’s breath came in short gasps. “Please… I only lent her a phone. That’s all, I swear—God knows I don’t know where she went.”Wrong answer.Without needing to speak, I tilted my chin at Diego. The crack of bone followed. The man crumpled to the ground with a strangled cry, fingers scrambling to clutch my legs like a dying prayer.“Please… spare me,” he whimpered, voice thick with phlegm and regret. “Sir… I beg of you.”I kicked him off with a slow, merciless motion, my boot slamming into his chest. My rage was a living thing now—black, hot, and crawling beneath my skin.Grabbing his collar, I y

The room echoed with the loud shot, the crack of it splitting the air like a lightning strike. My ears rang for seconds, sharp and shrill, as if the sound itself had buried into my skull.Fear gripped me in a stranglehold. My heart stopped—just stopped—as the moment stilled, suspended in a nightmare. The chandelier above quivered, then came crashing down with a heavy, jarring thud, shards scattering across the floor like glittering knives. When I open my eyes, they meet Saida’s—and what I see there sends a shiver down my spine. Fear. Real, gut-deep fear. For a second, I don’t know if it’s hers or mine. Then his voice slices through the tension like a blade, cold and cruel, dragging us back into the horror. He made the shot. Of course, he did."I swear the next bullet will be piercing through your skull, Saida," he gritted out, voice low and sharp like gravel. His hand didn’t flinch. The gun was still pressed into her head, the metal digging into her skin like a promise."Do not spoi

  • Dangerous Love   Men, they’ll never stop needing more

Allison’s POVThe darkness stretched deeper than I could imagine—thick and suffocating. My weary mind drifted through it, lost in the endless struggle between myself and the world. Between reality and madness. If a person could sit still for this long, tied up and barely breathing, without losing their mind… it would be considered magic. If that kind of shit was even real. But I was still here. Still breathing. Barely. And even in this void of silence and cold, all I could think about—was him.Clyde.The images came uninvited, sharp and vivid. Him with blood on his hands. Him orchestrating a drug empire with that calm, lethal stare. It didn’t have to make sense. The stories weren’t supposed to rhyme. But they did. They rhymed too well. Too perfectly. Like a puzzle I hadn’t meant to solve. Now here I was. Shackled. Nearly naked. Freezing. Bones aching and bruised, skin raw against the stone floor—but none of it compared to the pain burning in my stupid heart. And then—footsteps.Echoes

  • Dangerous Love   Death on my breath

Clyde’s POVThe harshness of the alcohol burned my skin as I rode through the city at speed, darkness wrapping around me like an old friend. That familiar numbness, that rage-filled silence, swallowed me whole. I stared hard at the latest picture on my phone. That same damn number. A new set of photos. This time, she was clad in only her underwear, chained to a bed. She looked smaller than she had this morning. And my cold, cursed heart ached beyond words. “We’ll get her back, Clyde. I promise you.” Diego’s voice rang out inside the car. I was holding the phone so tight it might snap in half. Too late. I was fucking too late. Now I had even bigger problems than before. The warehouse had been three hours out of the city. When we got to the cafeteria they were both gone. Will and my girl. And just when I tried to figure out where the hell they’d gone, my phone beeped again. That same number. That sick, twisted image of my precious lamb. Caught in bondage. And a m

  • Dangerous Love   Your boyfriend is not who he claims to be

Allison’s POV Every part of me burned with worry as I made my way across the street. The cafeteria's light spilled into the dark alley, but it did nothing to lighten my mood. It was a blur—this moment of weakness. Accepting this invitation even when I knew, deep down, that this single meeting could destroy everything. Fortes worth saving. Or not? My eyes landed on him as I strolled into the cafeteria. It’s always been our favorite spot from when we were teenagers, a place etched with too many memories to count. He smiled and waved at me as I approached. But when I got close, I realized—his bruises had darkened. Clyde definitely hit him hard. A sharp pang filled my chest, tight and unforgiving. All this was my fault. "I can't say how proud I am of you for coming." "Get to the fucking point." I snapped. He smirked, but he must have expected that. He shrugged it off like it didn’t sting. His gaze dragged over my body, definitely laughing at my outfit for the
