“What the fuck was all about back there, Xandry?” I grab his front shirt and push him against the wall strong enough that knocks the air out of his lungs. What he did in front of Camila is unacceptable.
“Whoa! Calm down. I was just messing with you.” He raises his hands up.
We’ve been like brothers since we were just kids. If he ever crosses the line again I will not think twice to punch him and break a bone or two of his face. Thank, God, he got the message that I’m trying to send him back there.
Taking a deep breath, I release him.
“I was not gratified with what you did back there. She could’ve had suspected what was that all about.” I release an exasperating sigh.
“So, that’s her, huh?” He cocks his brow and curves his lips into an infuriating smirk. His words give a painful lurch in my stomach.
“Don’t, Xandry,” I warn him.
