At home, Clay walked upstairs to pack his suitcase, Lorraine was about to follow when Mark pulled her aside for a brief recap

"How is he doing?" Mark asked with concern

"You know. He's hanging in there for now, but I think he'll need someone to constantly check up on him" Lorraine replied gazing at Mark with a hint

"I get that" Mark said walking towards the sofa, he sat on it and with a perturbed gaze said

"I'll try my best to be there for him, but you know it's going to be difficult. Your husband is not the easiest of men to deal with", Mark said

Lorraine slowly approached him and gently held his hand.

"I know," she said softly "Thank you, Mark"

She joined him on the couch. The past few hours had not been what they expected.

The only challenge Lorraine had envisioned was talking to Caterina to rehash their grievances and after that, she was probably going to get in bed and binge-watch an entire series of 'Love on the Boat' and eat ice cream.
