Chapter 37 part 1

Daeira gasped before waking up into a dark sky once again while her attention immediately  went to the violent splashing of the waters. She forced herself to bolt up and her eyes widened when the mermaid was engaged into a fight to one monster who was after her. By the looks of it, the mermaid was as if playing to the beast, throwing it with a sharpened water shapes that it roared so loudly when it pierced its chest. It fell down before it disappeared into a dust. 

"Ohhh, you're finally awake, your highness." the mermaid greeted her and cheerfully wave  at her. The mermaid turned her attention to the opposite river banks before she swum towards her. 

"What happened?" Daeira asked.

"I've killed ten beasts who wanted to eat you." she said as if she was playing around. "But  water is my friend. They can't possibly pass through it without my permission."
