Chapter Fifty-Three

Bernard Shaw paced back and forth in his office. He stared at the series of text messages that had started coming in on his phone. With a maniacal chuckle he threw his cell phone against the wall. He walked down  to the cells where he had left Mateo and Isa to stew for a week. He still hadn’t touched her, not in the way he wanted but it was still enough to torment Mateo.

Bernard threw open the cell door and watched as Isa’s head snapped up at him with defiance. Mateo glared at him as Bernard walked into the cell. 

“How are my two favorite prisoners?” He asked, grinning at them.
